Quite interesting to see the word "predicting" here...
Because I actually "predicted" that a figure like "PBEMmaniac / Spengler" would appear at JP's.
I predicted it since "DKS" posted at JP's that someone had gone to the Panzer Corps forum posting that Panzer Corps was useless because Open General served all SSI inspired gamer's needs...
I only had to wait about a month for Mr. "PBEMmaniac" to show up after that "DKS" post... and watch as other things that I predicted did unfold in the next years...

So, what's the conclusion here?

1) Predictions make actual events happen?

2) JP's closed its virtual doors because of a single, solitary individual's "dislike" of the venue?

Now, as far as OG is concerned:

a) I do believe it's ideal for SSI-style modding and playing.

b) And yeah, if Luis Guzman were to "effectively disappear", THIS collection of forums would go dark; for good! A conditional prediction...

Sometimes people just decide to dedicate an enormous amount of time and effort to destructive / vengeful causes, usually for no valid reason at all, but let's get back on the original spirit of this thread:
