Hi all,
i have read that open general can use pg2 scenarios and i found this site http://www.dirk-cremer.de/hg/eng/pg3d.htm
i have tried reading the information on the OpenSuite to see how to convert or load up the pg2 scenarios from that site.
but i can not make any sense of the information i do have quite bad dyslexia and i find lots of text very confusing.
is there a easy-ish way to do it or a video showing me how to play these in opengeneral .
thank you for a great game i really enjoy and your time reading this.
hope it makes sense.
Keith

Re: convert or load up
Hi Keith, welcome to our forum.
I can't answer your question because I don't know about the technical things.
But I would like to ask you if you are really only interested in single scenarios or in campaigns? Because: a lot of the campaigns offered on Dirk Cremer's homepage have already been converted to OpenGeneral and are immediately playable e.g. after installing the CC-Pack.

Re: convert or load up
Hi thank you for your reply,
I did download the cc pack , so im happy to play through that, as the one i really wanted to play was A bridge to far. This is such a cool game and so much
work has been put into it. Im not very good but its all about having some fun.
Again thank you all for you great work and more to come.

Re: convert or load up
afaik the shp file format what the pg2 used for gui and graphics is no longer supported in opengen
otoh, basically all important user-made (and the original) pg2 efiles have been converted for opengen, you can find them in pg2 and cc packs
when you find a campaign, what hasn't been added to the aforementioned packages, just unpack it to the proper the efile (mostly the scenario folder)
