Re: c.c`s
What is the reason you ask? Is the supply of CC's too small?

What an answer Is that sarcasm? Maybe not every player wants to play the ancient CCs again and again.
We are all adults, so let us be honest. We all know that in a healthy and active community there would be CCs on a regular basis, at least one new CC once a year.
The last CC and the MTC were announcend in 2020.
When the idea of an 2nd MTC was brought up in 2021 none of the admins, moderators or CC team hat the "time" to write an post.
Nowadays it is every "man on his own". So, Keighleyred, pick a campaign that is interesting for you and have fun playing it
There will be no new CC

@Parabellum: I'm glad that you've finally commented on this topic. The fact that with Wonderdoctor and Urica two currently ACTIVE potential players are busy with other things and therefore would not participate in a potential MTC was certainly not seen by others besides me.
I enjoyed the last MTC (Except for the rule discussions. I still think that the rules should be revised to find even more potential players, but that's another topic.).
There are two problems with your suggestion of just taking any campaign and playing it as an MTC.
1. A suitable campaign must first be found. Not every campaign is suitable as an MTC. For me, such a campaign should have around 15 scenarios that shouldn't take too long and the campaign shouldn't be too difficult. You first have to look for such a campaign among the many campaigns. With old campaigns that weren't CCs, there is no information as to whether the campaigns still work without bugs at all, because there are hardly any AARs in the forum. And lately there have only been new campaigns for the Atomic Efile. But the big cards that Clemens uses usually need more time than I think is good for an MTC. And I don't even find our allied campaign, which also uses smaller maps in part, particularly suitable as an MTC, since the scenarios are not necessarily designed in such a way that you can wipe away masses of units with a tank in the BV limit. From these points of view, it should be clear why an MTC should be proposed.
Personally, I think everyone on the CC team should test one campaign a year, no matter what else they do on the forums. Then you can exchange ideas and then set the campaign with the best impression as MTC or CC. If you just keep playing ancient CCs here, it just shows that the game has really peaked and is dying out because you're always stuck in the past.
2. If Keighleyred now just starts an MTC for himself, hardly many will join in if it's not an official MTC, especially if the other players don't like the campaign or the efile that much. This eliminates the possibility of a reasonable comparison and thus also the point of an MTC.

Hi guys, I moved the posts so we can discuss further here.ParabellumIn my opinion, there will be no new CC's in the current situation - the reasoning is simple from my point of view: lvjtn is (for me) MIA and Wonderdoc + Urica are currently building a Belgian campaign, which will take a long time to build and test. And I'm just a player and have no idea about campaign building. This is my very personal assessment, not coordinated with the other members of the CC team.Keighleyred wrote: ↑2022-09-04 18:19, Sunday

But ...
Why do you always wait for others to offer you new campaigns? Be creative and pick a campaign from the existing campaign pool that you think is suitable for a MTC, as I have done here several times with CC76. Set your own new goals for which unit you want to develop the furthest, with which you want to kill the most enemies. There are no limits to your imagination.
If you don't have your own ideas, then just try to surpass my results. I will reactivate the Simply The Best thread and post my results. Then you'll see how high the bar is that you have to jump over viewtopic.php?f=97&t=334
