All units that could, started the retreat to Seoul with slower ones left behind in villages along the way to hold up the enemy advance. The units that reached Seoul were arranged in a defensive line and when I was able to buy some units in about turn 6 I put these behind the aux defences and they gained some exp with hit and run attacks. It wasn't too hard to defend the city especially with my long range Arty severely weakening enemy units well before they got to the city, until the nasty enemy shot down my spotter aircraft

The Para was deployed in the VH on the river backed by the better Tank, the other Tank was deployed to the east, Arty in the centre and the other 2 lower down. The HQ rushed north to lend support to the Arty, the Recon moved up to the single Tank which had advanced 1 hex to cover the river crossing and the Tank backing the Para also advanced 1 hex to also cover a river crossing, then we waited and absorbed the enemy attacks. The Commies were held back without too many worries, although an Arty with support fire would be helpful, I think I got star struck when looking at the stats of the T92
Once the attacks were defeated the eastern Tank and Recon headed north and took the VH and we waited 1 more turn and it was all over.

I decided very early that the defence of the north was going to be futile so I quickly withdrew the Artys and sent them south, 3 of the 4 made it to the eastern VH on the coast and setup to await the attacks. The core split with the best Tank and long range Arty heading to the north-west VH, new Arty to between the centre-west VH and the south-west VH and the Infs, along with an aux Arty they picked up along the way, to the pass between the mountains in the middle of the map. The defence of the 3 western VHs went pretty well and eventually I was able to cross 3 Tanks and take out the enemy Artys from the rear. The southern sector was a tough battle but after a time the attacks reduced so we struck out towards the VH/SH and cleared it after a brief fight. The Infs guarding the pass saw zero action but I was happy to leave them there knowing no enemies were going to sneak through to my rear areas. Over on the east coast the VH was held easily by the original Inf, 3 Artys and 2 Infs that walked down from the north. In the end we messed about getting some $$ here and there and ended it on the last turn for the BV.

A very easy and quick battle this one, my units landed and smashed through the enemy defenders like a hot knife through butter. Fast units were then sent out to gather $$ for a couple of turns and we ended it on last turn for the BV.

I setup and defensive ring at the north-west VH which was backed by the 1 Mega Arty and 2 Regular Artys and left them to defend and resupply. The 3 new Artys were sent east across the map to a position in the mountains where they could provide support fire to the 2 VHs. Across the rest of the battlefield units were left in place to defend as well as they could. Once the attacks reduced at the north-west VH the Recon was sent out to spot for the Artys and mop up and weak enemies while the core moved north to hold back the flood of enemies and eventually take the VH. Once to 2 enemy VHs in the north-west had been captured the core sped eastwards and was able to retake to 2 lost VHs just before the end of BV.

I deployed the 2 Tanks on the forward deploy hexes and 6 Artys with the MegaArty deployed in the middle area but moving forward to where it could fire on any enemies attacking 3 VHs. We were able to hold off the attacks with minimal damage and finished for a BV-2 once we could strike out towards the enemy VH which fell easily.

This was a battle of opposites, in the west the core absolutely decimated anything that got within range while in the east the entire aux force was wiped out. Once the waves of attacks in the west were seeming to lessen I sent 3 Artys across to the east but they arrived too late to save any friendly units. They were able to, along with the aux ships, hold back any further advance west to my core's rear and as I already held the 3 required VHs I left them to it. Turns ran out and the BV was won.

I gathered some some auxs to my core deploy area and we set off across the map in a long line running diagonally SW-NE smashing all that stood in our way. A T-34 showed up and had a pop at one of my Artys but got pounded into submission Once Seoul was cleared all $$ on the map was collected then we took the last VH for a BV-6

I deployed 3 Artys and a Tank in the northern deploy zone. Tank, Recon, AD, Infs & Artys in the center deployment zone and a couple of Artys at the supply hex near Seoul. I setup 3 defensive lines, 2 at the main deployment areas and a 3rd using mainly aux units at the western river crossing north of Seoul and awaited the onslaught. The waves came as expected and we held them off with ease in the north and centre but the western area struggled to contain the attacks. Once the 2 Artys from the Seoul SH arrived within range of the western defensive line things improved and improved again when I moved a couple of Artys down from the centre defensive line to an area where they provided support fire to both. The north was the easiest although it seemed to have the largest attacking force but any enemy that attacked up there was greeted with 13 rounds of defensive support fire which just totally decimated them Eventually the north became quiet so I moved the 3 core Artys to the centre area and 3 from there to the west which was barely holding on. Once those 2 arrived the battle turned in my favour and we went on the offensive in the 2 hotspot areas, pushing the enemy back and taking the VHs for a BV -4

Final thoughts-
This was a fun campaign, maybe a little easy for seasoned players on 100% so a replay on lower settings would be interesting. Lots of defensive battles meant my Artillery horde had lots of targets so it was a fun time for them it would be a fun challenge to see if the cam can be won with Artys only

This was a fun campaign, maybe a little easy for seasoned players on 100% so a replay on lower settings would be interesting. ...

Congratulations! I recommend you officer level or higher. Even at 0%, the campaign is winnable, but it's not a walk in the park and requires patience and many attempts. Because of the shortness of the campaign, however, it is definitely worth a try.
