Current scenario: GUSTLIKS FROM RYBNIK

When scenario started i bought 2 infantries and two MG as well as a range 6 gun. The tanks and recons are to weak and the MG and infantries can travel fast at least. I had to restart the scenario once because i got confused and in my second try i did capture the trigger flag which changes AI stance only in the last turn

The artillery got the leader trigger.
I bypassed the enemy bunkers and fighting took place around the VHs only. One flag in the southwest i could not reach in time to capture it.

Current scenario: KARLIK FROM KATOWICE

I get a SPAD proto, which i sell. Then i buy another artillery, bomber and a fighter + attachments.
The map is the same as in the previous scenario. I have to capture some VHs that are not to far away. 3 of my core units are ordered to capture a german SH. There were also 3 aux units in the south, guarding a VH. They never got involved in any combat and in hindsight i should have send them out to collect more flags.
I capture the VHs without problems and play until the last turn so i could capture some of the flags. Missed some though.

The cool thing is that each player has a different selection of units
Taking turns - aggressive stance - everyone is fooled
However, the most important thing is the weather - in rain with limited vision - enemy units can escape. In good weather, it is more difficult for them to do so
You can also issue an additional unit in VH

It is a pity that the translation of the titles of the scenarios into English - does not present the context -> because each name of the scenario contains a play on words, understandable to those who know Polish

Not all flags are payable, but in some of them Gustlik has bonuses -> having fun with the game - this is the keynote

Current scenario: DEFENSE OF THE CZESTOCHOWA

At HQ i buy another infantry and artillery. There is some prestige left, so one MG gets an attachment.

After deployment i rush to the north. There are 3 VHs and only one is defended by a single unit. The Germans manage to capture all VH and i set up my positions just south of the central VH. Basically my artillery does the job alone

My fighter kills a 8 sp enemy artillery (in horse transport) with one shot

Two aux units embark in trains and drive to the enemy SH, so i get that prestige too. They also get some exp by trigger...

The central VH is the first that i recapture. With the help of my artillery department all further enemy attacks can be repelled. Then i capture the western VH and later the eastern one.

Current scenario: GIRLS FROM OPOLE

I get the same proto as before and sell it. Then i buy a Flak, infantry and a fighter. The recons and tanks are to slow/weak and i wait for better ones. I also would like to buy a recon plane, but they are to slow too.

My first try i had to abandon because enemy units sneaked behind my lines and captured my empty VHs in the south and east.

In my second try i had two main battle groups. One was moving up to the north and the other one to the northwest while some other units were swarming the area in the west and center. Thanks to my planes and Flak i could shoot down all enemy planes quickly.
In the center, moving northwest, i had my best units and had no problems here. In the north i lacked the numbers and i had to send in my core and aux bombers to help my northern battlegroup.
In the later stages i sent my fastest units further to the west and north to collect some flags.
Flags that give prestige are far away while nearby flags give no prestige. First time i experience such conditions. Anyway, it was a nice battle and i also got two leaders. My bomber got a very good one, combat support.

Interesting - are you playing without being recognized?

With such terrain - reconnaissance is crucial - especially by air
There is always a chance (especially in bad weather) that the opposing units will not notice each other and will pass each other

Reconnaissance planes - they experience fast - you may have in the future - a good bomber

Gustlik rewards you for capturing additional flags, and these are mostly behind the front, but also those without pp can have a hidden bonus

That is also not enough. But it is very early in the campaign and when better units are available i will buy them. Normaly i recon a lot, so i never will be surprised by the enemy.
Last scenario i found no hidden bonus on the flags with no prestige

I would not buy a recon with 5 movement or a recon plane with 12 movement for any country. This has nothing to do with Poland or Germany or any other nation in the game

Current scenario: CZECH MOVIE

Finaly some good tanks are available and i buy 3 of them. They also get an attachment each. My bomber also gets a +2 ammo attachment.

Later in the scenario i buy some temporary units, 3 recons, a infantry and a bomber (The bomber i might keep. As you can see i can not display the polish letters: PZL.37b £oœ). These units helped to collect more flags.

After deployment i sent my core units west-northwest until i realize that i also have to help the aux forces in the southwest too. These aux units are AI units, so i can not command them. Later it tuns out they did not need my help as they were able to destroy all attackers alone.
Overall there was little fighting for my core army and i mostly travel across the map and concentrate on capturing flags. There were also 2 triggers at flag hex, which give me additional 200pp.
I accidentaly won the scenario 7 turns early when i captured all VHs, so of course i reload and play until the end.

As you can see i can not display the polish letters: PZL.37b £oœ

Instead of Karaś you have Karas written
Likewise - instead of Łoś - write Łos (£os)

You can also copy names in the browser
In the report it depends on the font settings

In the future - the names of the equipment will use a lot of Polish characters -> they cannot be written in English (the meaning of the word will be lost)

Current scenario: WROCLAW LOAF

At HQ i sell the temporary units, but keep the bomber and infantry. I also buy another fighter and artillery.

Basically i have 2 battlegroups in the east and west with some "skirmishers" in between. There are many aux planes, which i use for scouting too, together with my core planes. Later some enemy units counterattack in the moment when i am about to capture the eastern VHs.
I got a shock moment when my new bomber met the only enemy AD in a wide open area and got surprised. With 3/10 SP i await the enemy turn. But my brave bomber loses only 1 SP in the enemy attack. What a relief

I get my 3rd artillery leader, which is nice

I am also able to capture all flags.

Current scenario: LEGNICA BAG

I get a Flak proto which i sell. Then i buy a Flak, tank, bomber, artillery and fighter.

I have no clue what i am supposed to do

but from the short intro text i guess the germans will attack

But there are also VH that i should capture.
There are also many many flags on the map. Should i capture them all? I have no idea

My first try i abandon after half of the battle. In my second try i just push northwards towards the enemy VHs, ignoring the enemy attacks in the west and fight the enemy only near the VHs. So i make BV after just 4 turns.
I came to the conclusion that most of the flag prestige is out of reach anyway in BV turn limit, so i take the easy way out

Current scenario: SMOKE OVER ODER

At HQ i upgrade my tanks, Flak and 2 fighters.

The first try i abandon after 10 turns because my tactics turned out to be wrong and the enemy would slip left and right through my lines/around my battlegroups.

In my second try i establish a defensive position with most of my core units in the center of the map and await the enemy. Two small battlegroups, composed mainly of aux units moved northwards along the eastern and western map edges.
The enemy VHs are only lightly defended, so these small groups captured the enemy VHs easily. In the center more and more enemy units arrived from various directions and some would slip through my lines. The map is large and my army small and fighting really took place on the whole map, so there are many gaps btween my units. I wish i would have some more 2nd line aux units in the rear, to guard the VHs at least.

I delete a leader one of my Flaks got. Flak leader is useless in my opinion, because when will it ever happen that one Flak intercept more than one AI plane in a single turn...???

Current scenario: DIRECTION - BERLIN!

At HQ i finaly buy a recon plane. Only 17 movement

but 6 spotting range (with attachment)

I also buy a tank and artillery and upgrade 2 fighters.

After initial deployment i formed several battlegroups, but there were only two enemy VHs that i should capture, so all my units concentrated on these two cities. This time there was only a small enemy counterattack in the north. I spotted the attackers early thanks to the aux recon plane.
For the first enemy fighter, a Bf 109, i needed 4 of my fighters to shot it down

Then a big siege of the two VH cities commenced. I shelled the enemy with all my guns and moved slowly forward. In the south i could break through the enemy lines faster, sacrificing some aux infantries. Once i broke through my units swarmed out to capture some flags and also attack the northern VH from behind.

I forgot to report that there is no intro text file found for the previous scenario - DIRECTION - BERLIN!

Current scenario: FORCED REST

I get a very nice proto, a range 6 artillery. Then i sell the recon plane i aquired last scenario and buy a better one, which is available now. I also upgrade my combat support bomber into the same recon plane. Then i bought another bomber, fighter and a flak and upgraded my [C] infantry.

When the scenario starts i hold 3 VH and also have to capture 3 VH. But first i have to repell some enemy attacks. I gave up the southern VH to concentrate my forces around the center and northern VH. Some units have to start far in the east and it takes some time before they reach the battlefield.
With my artillery in the back i stop the enemy in front of my VHs. But i took some hits from nasty German long range guns which shell my units from afar.
Two Brandenburg units landed in my backyard and i had to sent back some units to fight them.

In the center i launched my counterattack first and then sent more and more units to the northwest.
In the south i had just few units that recaptured my VH and then attacked the German one.

I enjoyed the battle very much

and also got a handful of leaders. Two of them were very good ones, dev. fire on an artillery and all weather on a bomber

Current scenario: ALREADY YOU SEE BERLIN

Again the intro text file is missing.

At HQ i bought another tank, fighter and a long range artillery.

After deployment i formed 3 battlegroups and moved west towards Berlin. In the north and south i faced some enemy counterattacks. In the north i had to retreat because i lacked the numbers. Then i sent in my bombers until the area was secured.
Meanwhile i reached the outskirts of Berlin with my central battlegroup and prepared to shell the city with my artillery. There was surprisingly weak air defence and i could use my air force to weaken the defenders. At that point few enemy partizan units appeared in the east and threatened my own VHs. Some aux units and fighters had to take care of them.
When victory in Berlin was close, i started to sent units to the other flags and VHs.
Then i accidentaly captured all VHs 7 turns early. But i had to play a little longer to capture more flags and destroy more enemy units.
One of the fighters took the 15th leader.

Current scenario: HOLD BERLIN

I had 3700+ pp and bought a infantry, artillery, fighter, recon plane and flak. I also saved some pp for later and bought attachments.

There is no intro but from the scenario title and deployment situation i anticipated a big attack on my positions in Berlin.
So i deployed most of my units in Berlin and the rest at two SH in the northeast and southeast.
The core of my defensive in Berlin was my combat support infantry, surrounded by 6 artilleries. Many of the enemy attackers must have been set to fearless, because i killed many units by support fire. It was quite unfortunate because some of the killes went to aux units

There was also a big attack in the northeast. I had only few units there and had to retreat to my VH. With the help of my planes i repelled the enemy attacks in the north.
In the second part of the scenario i got two big groups of reinforcements which swarmed out all across the map, joining my counterttacks. Once the enemy offensive was over the scenario became more and mroe easy, because the enemy VHs were defended only by very few units.
So i was able to capture all flags and finish the scenario early.

One of the enemy SH that i captured gave me a SPATY proto, which i will sell.

I noticed there is a a little shift with the inspect_medals. Maybe someone can take a look into this:

I compared the inspect_medals files from our e-file and your e-file
Poland comes in 16th place and the drawings agree

On the other hand, in your drawing of yours, the medal download is shifted (it downloads from a different place)

I don't understand what you mean with "my" efile. I am playing the G41 campaign with Efile version: GusOpen ver. 7.4.0. Every efile has its own inspect_medal.

For testing i started campaign B07 and there is the same problem (see picture below).
I also download the efile from https://opengeneral.pl/opengen.html again and check the issue again and i see the same problem.
Anyway, i just wanted to report what i see. I don't want to start an argument

Yes, i think it counts pixel from left, but for example, with transparent pixels added to the right, the file is longer than the nations.txt would suggest and i also think there should not be transparent pixel at all. But that is just a thought. Let's wait for Luis

Mystery solved ..
There were two different NATIONS.TXT files - one for English (shorter) and one for Polish (longer)

It seems that the length of the inspect_medal.png file (in pixels) is divided by the number of countries entered in the NATIONS.TXT file -> therefore the shifts came out (because, 1738/95 = 18.3 -> 18.3 * 15 = 247.5, while 1738/79 = 22 -> 22 * 15 = 330)
So in the first case the 18.3x19 rectangle starting at 247.5 px was taken
in the second case - a 22 * 19 rectangle starting from 330px

Current scenario: RED BEVY

At HQ i sold the SPATY i got last scenario and bought a fighter and bomber. Then i upgraded my tanks, AT and some fighters.
I also upgraded my dev. fire artillery into a range 6 155mm gun with support fire and 10 ammo. So good

Need more of this

After deployment i build a defensive postion in the northern center while most of my units were driving south in the western part of the map.
In the east i had to face Soviet attacks, but with the help of my artillery and combat support infantry i stopped all attacks easily. It took a very long time until the attacks were over but that also meant that i never had to face a superior force.

In the west enemy paratroopers landed, harassed my aux units and finaly captured 2 VHs at the Pilica river.
Reinforcements arrived in the northwest and i sent them southwards too. The whole western part of the map was crowded by core and aux units driving southwards and it took them a loooong time to cross the map diagonally and capture the enemy VH in the southeast.

Meanwhile i could sent my eastern battlegroups suthwards too, but they did not arrive in the very south in time and basically were relegated to flag-capturing duties.

Overall this was a great battle and i like the scenario very much

Current scenario: COSSACK CHARGE

I get a fighterbomber proto which i sell. Then i put all prestige into upgrades of my fighters and one artillery and two infantries. There is a Commando infantry unit with good combat stats AND combat support. So i will upgrade all my infantry in this and the following scenarios.

Another great scenario. I liked the enemy cossack charge. Great idea

This scenario again took very long because again my units have to cross the whole big map from northwest to southeast. So in the second part of the map i am a just a transportation general

The enemy has some powerful guns on the eastern shore of the Vistula river, but thanks to my recon planes i spot them early. Or thanks to my aux units taking some hits...

I felt like i need some more units, so it would be easier to take control of the whole big map.

Current scenario: DUKLA FURY

At HQ i bought tqo tanks, a fighter and a recon plane. I also upgraded 2 more infantries into combat support commandos.

Fighting was surprisingly easy in this scenario. My army moved southwards through the hills and in the center i met the enemy, who was comming up from the south.
The enemy units were no match for my army and my focus turned towards the flagged hex and i was able to win the scenario early.

Current scenario: KARPATKA

At HQ i bought 6 units. New units start with 0 exp and it takes long to train them and i am closing in on the end of the campaign after playing round about 2/3 of the scenarios. So from now on i won't buy much more new units. I plan to buy one more fighter and bomber in next scenario though. Then see how it goes...

This scenario is similar to the previous ones. After deployment in the northwest my units march to the center of the map and fight attacking AI units. Then i move further into enemy territory and turn my eye on flagged hex.
One heroic aux paratrooper captured the airfield in the (western) center of the map and defended it (with the help of my planes) until other units arrived.

Just a suggestion: Maybe as addition to the ROP inventory there could be a halftracked or tracked SPAD? The AD department got not many new units so far.

Current scenario: MAN FROM KRESY

At HQ i buy a bomber and a fighter and after some turns, when i had aquirred the prestige, another fighter. I might sell the second one though.
The rest of the prestige i put into attachments and upgrades.

After deployment in the west my whole army moved eastwards on a broad front. In the center some aux units defend a VH city until i relief them.
Aux sappers repaired the nearby airfield, which became a vital base for my air force.
Then the scenario turned into a race. The enemy was no match for my army and i tried to capture all flags all across the map fast and ended the scenario 8 turns early.

Current scenario: POMERANIAN SLAUGHTERHOUSE

At HQ i sold the level bomber proto and the fighter i bought during last scenario and then had around 7000pp. I upgraded all my tanks, AT and some artillery units. A lot of prestige was left and i bought strength points for all of my tanks.

After deployment in the southeast i moved to the west and northwest but met aggressive enemy units very soon. If i remember correctly the enemy had a SPAD leader for the first time in this campaign and this unit was able to attack my planes. I usually was able to avoid any enemy air defence.

The enemy attackers fielded some very strong ground units as well, but lacked the numbers.
One enemy camo leader surprised one of my tanks and stole 4 strength points.
But my OS tanks, backed by artillery and combat support units when through the enemy lines like a hot knife through warm butter

Once the initial enemy attack was repelled i moved out and quickly dispersed my units all across the map once again.
From now on i met only little resistance. Two enemy units from the north sneaked through my lines though. They captured one VH but luckily i had two slow aux units and a damaged Flak in the area and called in my bombers too. [EDIT: i forgot, i also bought a bomber for this task too, which i will probably sell next scenario.]

A trigger SH i captured gave me a SPFlak, which i will sell. Got BV early.

Current scenario: GDANSK RETURN TO POLAND

At HQ i sold the temporary bomber and trigger hex proto and upgraded two fighters and bought attachments and strength points.
The fighting was very easy. While my best units (tanks) have up to strength 15, the best german units are under strength, like Panther or Wespe with just 8 SP. Only few enemy infantry have a strength of 12. Some enemy recon planes have 5 SP.
One enemy Wespe SPARTY was killed by one of my fighters, supported by my [C] bomber, in one shot.

So my main focus was again the capture of all flags. For this task i bought a temporary recon.

The Road at Hex (43,37) is broken. I don't think this is intentional.

Yes, it's not intended - although I don't know ...
In 2017 - the road was passable, since 2018 one span of the bridge is missing
I checked some mapix of this map
Even in the database and MapFinder - they differ in mapx - size .... it is probably the effect of clipping ..

At HQ i sell the temporary flag collector recon, upgrade 3 fighters and buy attachments. I also restore the SP of the tanks. Then i also upgrade my combat support leader infantry. It was just too slow to keep up with the other units. It looses the combat support ability because the new unit has [C] already. First new leader ability was influence but since i am not going to upgrade this unit anymore i reload one time and got recon movement.

It was a nice interesting coastal map. The best enemy units had the lowest strength, 5 SP. For example, i attack one Jagdpanther II with a fighter and strength goes down to 3. Then i bring my 15 SP tanks into battle...
I was also under the impression that the AI bought some obsolete Panzer II with 0 exp at an SH. At least they were comming from this direction.

Anyway, after deployment in the southwest i spotted the aggressive enemy battlegroups early, thanks to my recon planes. I repelled the attack and moved towards the Pregolya and Lava rivers. Most units moved north to Kaliningrad and once the city was captured i moved to the northeast of the map.
Some enemy infantries appeared on the eastern map edge in the southeast and killed some aux units. But overall my units had no problems to deal with the enemy.

Yes, they attacked me. But they have a long range and attacks are shown so fast and i didn't see which units they attacked

Probably some aux units. The V1 and V2 have only 5 SP and two exp bars, so they won't do too much damage anyway

The best enemy units have only low SP, so they can not harm me anyway.
And i have 4 recon planes, so i detect all enemy units early. For example the incomming battleroups. I spotted them early and can damage them with planes and artillery and then just overrun them with my tanks.

There is so much prestige in this campaign at 100%, i don't know what to do, so i also put it into strength points for the tanks. I don't need to buy more units.

I usually don't lay much emphasis on rocket bombers. For me it is more important that one bomber damages a unit, which then is no harm for my ground units anymore and can easily be destroyed. Rocket bombers are good to finish off enemy units which have been attacked by an other plane before, so the hex is already occupied by a plane. In this case i need two planes. But two planes can also damage two enemy units!

No problem. The wish list for RoP is open.
Tracked AD is doable. There was simply never any demand for it.
Wheeled ADs are preferred by most players due to increased mobility on big maps.

Sorry, if i was not clear enough

I always want to keep text short in englisch

But anyway, if someone attack ground units with the rocket special from a adjacent hex it doesn't matter if it is a fighter or a bomber, for what i wanted to say. In this campaign i don't feel the need of rocket fighter-bombers because usually i scout the area ahead of my troops with the recon planes. Spotted enemies get attacked, but not killed, by my bombers and fighters. Then the damaged enemy units are easy prey for my OS tanks.
Also, the PZL.60c rocket bomber has only 3 ammo and i would need to buy a ammo attachment. Ok, i can afford it, but it also can not intercept air units, so it can't cover my bombers.
For example, i still use the SDPlot wz.40. More modern units are available, but the SDPlot wz.40 is the perfect combination of stats and abilities i need.
I would use the wz.44 but it has one less movement.

The ROP equipment is great with many interesting units!

I just had the imperssion that the AD department could need a half-tracked or tracked SPAD, to add some more variety to the units. When i cycle through the classes and units in buy screen it is the only thing that is missing in my eyes.
