1. BORDER WAR WITH HUNGARY
Nothing interesting here. Hungarian forces are clearly superior comparing to Slovak's. Knowing, that this is “mission impossible” battle I didn't even try to win it, just fighting to gain some experience for my units without serious danger to lose any of them. Captured only one, easternmost VH and that's all. Remaining two left in Hungarian hands, so result was obvious.

2. POLISH CAMPAIGN
Did nothing at HQ, saving prestige for later.
This was straight forward advance in three columns. The Polish infantry units were weak, so didn't stopped my army, which was mainly driven by auxiliaries. Two of my core units, Inf and AT, were damaged and sent behind the front line at strength 2. Got BV one turn before limit but no prototype (strange, I thought that after first BV chance for proto is 100%).

3. BATTLE OF LIPOVEC
Purchased new 105mm How and Inzinieri. Upgraded 37mm AT to 50mm vz.38.
Long range spotting recon provided valuable information about strong defensive position in the center map area, so I decided to make detour with my forces to pass it. In addition I was afraid that strong cross-fire may be placed from both VH area when approaching straight in the center. All Slovaks want southern route, were some German auxiliaries joined a while later.
With massive attack southern VH was taken easily, and lack of artillery cover in neighborhood was nice surprise for me. Most annoying Soviet units were two planes at the time, which sent down my weak auxiliary fighter and had open space then.
The northern VH was much harder to take due to two heavy 152mm guns covered under entrenchments. When another group German auxiliaries joined main forces from the north I decided to organize massive assault, closing all available units to artillery placements and HQ bunker (with 8-hex spotting), and causing them to fire couple of times by several attacks. They were unable to resupply , so after removing bunker I captured empty VH in the last turn for BV. Got fighter proto, which should help to deal with Russian planes, were are too strong for Avia fighters.

4. DEFENSE OF THE RIVER MIUS LINE
Before the battle upgraded tank and arty.
Small scale battle but I had less fun than expected. My units went slowly through difficult terrain closing the packet in-between rivers. Russian 12 str. troops were dangerous and the last VH covered by artillery was hard to access. All the time two enemy I-16 fighters attacked my artillery and other weakened units, when my green 109 can not stand against them and was badly damaged in its very first duel. Anyway, struggling in snow and hammered by Russian defenders I managed to capture southernmost objective in the last turn for TV, avoiding loss.

5. BATTLE OF ROSTOV
Did nothing at HQ. I have already 8 ground units, and noted that limited deployment is usually fixed for that number.
It was long battle with masses of units, but not difficult. I advanced gradually with all units, tightening a ring around Russian defenders. Only easternmost VH was taken by flanking maneuver instead of frontal attack, as big guns made direct assault suicide mission there.
My units gained some valuable experience, and Inzinieri have nice
DF leader now, which may be useful for some purpose. I tried to capture as many flags as possible to collect some extra prestige, but didn't wait long and took BV one turn before limit. Unfortunately, no proto reward.

6. THE DRIVE INTO THE CAUCASUS
Before the battle I invested my cash into artillery contingent. Purchased one new 105mm K vz35 and upgraded remaining two to the same type R-5 arty.
That was a monster battle with uncountable amount of units and difficult terrain. I'm exhausted and disappointed – after two days of playing on 21 turns distance I've just missed BV by single one. I hope there are not many scenarios like this on the way. Statistics says all: 77 enemy units killed and 24 aux units lost.

7. ATTACKS TOWARDS TUAPSE
Before the battle temporarily purchased two 40mm AD guns, as DB said something about nasty Russian planes. Unfortunately deployment of my fighter wasn't possible.
Limited deployment of 10 units here, so I left my AT gun resting at HQ. Very small scale battle comparing to previous one. It could be called holiday, if the time limit wasn't set crazy. I missed BV by two turns, so got only TV (yes, that's the wide time margin).
I noted funny issue, when Russian artillery bunker left VH, where was settled, driving horse cart. Was replaced with infantry by AI.
And Russian Il-2 wasn't so scaring, as it had
Influence leader only, which is more pleasant than
Devastating Fire for sure.

8. STALEMATE IN THE CAUCASUS
Before the battle sold one of AD guns and upgraded Pechota to Inzinieri.
I was hoping to find some way to win it. Two arties won leaders quickly, so having now range 6 guns gave me some prospects to make break through defenders. Closest VH was captured easily and I had still enough turns spared to prepare further advance. Unfortunately Russian air force ruined all my plans. My auxiliary fighter was shot down. I managed to destroy one of Yak fighters, but that was all I could do. AD gun wasn't efficient and when nasty Pe-2 bomber with
Dev Fire leader started vaporize my units (reducing in double attacks from 10 to 3 or 2) everything was clear. I tried to fight, damaging both remaining enemy planes a little with my Me109. It won leader by the way, but lost majority of its strength quickly and must retreat, when enemy units were refitted and started to rule the air.
Having some units at strength 1, 2 or 3 (that means ready to blow-up with single arty or bomber shot) and no resources for repairs, I decided to retreat them out of enemy sight and stop any offensive activities, just holding position to the end. So I lost this battle, but saved all my units alive and won some experience and three new leaders, for two arties and fighter.
I'm glad it was short battle at least. Obviously, playing this campaign isn't fun for me, so I have no intention doing DB's () replaying any of battles for better result, even once, and will go straight forward. I can be punished taking only Losses to the end, but as it is possible to go through with such scores, I will accept them humbly.

9. SOVIET "OPERATION MOUNTAINS"
Did nothing at HQ, having 2$ only.
The BV limit is a joke in this scenario. You must take BV here, and so fast as possible, otherwise you will be annihilated. I did it in turn #4, what was the latest possible, as auxiliary defenders of 3 VH were defeated and in next turn all of them could be taken by Russians easily. Placing your VH under heavy artillery is ridiculous, as every unit you place there is blown out in next turn.
During the battle I lost two of my VH temporarily, so must retake them as well as capture the Russian southern VH defended by double bunker (
DF Engineer was the key here).

10. SLOVAK NATIONAL UPRISING
At HQ purchased big AD gun.
I decided to focus on western area first, so I sent all my units there. Following DB's tactic I sent recon to take German airfield, hoping that nasty bombers run out of ammo and couldn't resupply. Only auxiliaries fought in northeastern battlefield waiting for help. Soon they came under heavy attack of German forces supported by four bombers. I lost one of two VH (that next to airfield) quickly and almost all defenders were killed there.
In the meantime German VH on the south have been captured and all enemy units, excepting one of Hetzers, killed. Afterwards I was sending free units to the north one by one, and finally was able to organize attacks to capture German northern VH and recapture previously lost VH one turn later. The last arty got leader during these final operations. I've got nice regular Victory and finished this CC with only two losses, which is better than I have expected starting the campaign.
This campaign definitely can not be counted as enjoyable or easy to play, so is suitable for hardcore players only. I'm not such type of player, so it was hard work for me to go through it to the end, but I was determined to finish that was started three years ago.
