I came to the conclusion (also thanks to Urica
) that it is better do use less rules, which is easier to understand by the players. What i want to say - in my bad englisch - is, that i can come up with fancy rules, but the players can not know what i had in mind. So it is better to drop some rules and i can still limit myself to house rules when i play this or that campaign. I will take this approach in future campaigns too 
In the old version of the campaign all core units were given to the player throughout the campaign and upgrades were limited. Now the player can buy up to 4 units, the number varies from scenario to scenario. The player can also upgrade at will to all units from the Italian inventory.
The changes will make the campaign even easier than it is now, and it is already the easiest campaign of the efile. But that is okay, so it will be even better to play for freshmen.
Basically i just took away most of the free core units and hand out the corresponding amount of prestige instead. The scenarios themselves will remain unchanged.

Current scenario: Second Italo-Senussi War
The first scenario remains unchanged, the player's core units start at sea, have to make landfall and assist the italian garrison. The attacks of the Senussi warriors have to be repelled and a counterattack into the hinterland has to be launched.
