I just went to see what was going on at the jp panzer general history forum and it looks like its offline.
Is it closed down or is it just having some technical difficulty?

Sadly the old JP's forum is definitively closed, but we continue here so welcome back

I (think I) did send you, Konzev and J Crouch an e-mail about JP's end.
Of course I may have screwed addresses up or you may have not related my e-mail name to my JP's nickname.

This is the current Open General development forum.
includes sections on other Panzer General related games (page bottom).
And this "pub" section for general purpose chatter...

By the late stages of activity in JP's Konzev reported having retired from work and started playing PGX H v H.
Last contact was e-mailing him my incomplete PGX map experiments - my own editing of the BoW world map - just added cities - and a very early phase of my attempt at a substitute for the ETO map. Actually, its (almost exactly) a 1/4 cutout from the bigger world map original.

Jeff still says he may get back to PGX some day but also says there's much dispute for his "free" time and ultimately the biggest slice goes for grandson, of course.

Ah i see well im still doing programming.

Pretty soon maybe ill try to make some sort of strategy game myself i think.
My graphical ability's have ramped way up.

I remember you already had some concepts lined up a few years ago and they looked interesting.
