This campaign were designed to be hard and challenging. I decided to play it on 100:50 (player - AI) prestige modifier. Why? This is a "no buy, no upgrade" campaign so the usual 200-250:100 prestige modifier advised to other XG campaigns would be futile here. And the AI tend to swarm VHs and SHs with cheap units so I prefered to teach it bevahe docile a bit...
No buy, no upgrade but may get proto rewards and buy attachments - a vital and important part of the campaign. Also advice to examine your units and their abilities closely otherwise you would hardly accomplish the very first scenario! This is a rebalanced version of the campaign what should be implemented in the next (and hopefully last) release of XG e-file! I had much to correct and rebalanced to make the e-file playable for more people not just OG-pros and OG-l33ts...
And now a short summary in pictures just to raise the fun-factor:

The very first scenario where you must learn the pivotal differences between your troops and the Mantid forces. First of all that you must be caotious and not lose any of your core ever!
The Mantid equipment is vastly overpowers your so try hit-and-run tactic and use your ranged units wisely! I almost lost my air forces here what could cause serious troubles.

At first it seems you are the king here. No! just try to advance carefully otherwise the Mantids caught you and hurt you! Also remember that the bulk of your forces are highly mobile unlike your foes and this mean enough advantage if you could exploit it wisely!
Suffered some aux losses and achieved a last turn BV.

Here you have no aux but your core only! Thanks for the lucky proto awards I could manage to shatter the assaulting Mantids relatively easily. Kept in mind that the rivers are their enemies while I could tresspass easily...

This scenario is brutal. Pray for rain with full heart otherwise your airforce doomed. Literally! And I had so big luck with the T.P.L.! Without that my casualties would 30-40% higher and may not able to achieve a last turn BV. Only if I may get 3-6 more turns of rain perhaps...
While the Mantid longshot is understrengthed (has no str 10) it has a range of 24 hexes and support fire ability! Hunt down at any costs as I doubt all of you would have a reward T.P.L. to deal with it!

Well, while this seems easy at first - kill a single enemy commander - it is rather complicated as a task. The enemy airforce once again powerfull and better met them when rains. Also there is a nasty Mantid longshot protects the commander make it hard to fight in the area.
Finally achieved a TV as I sacrificed 1-2 turns to spare my units and to get some extra PPs for overstrength. It worth.

This one is the fiercest and thoughest scenario in this campaign! The enemy are aggressive and attack relentlessly while you need to command three separate armies. Not easy to have evade the collapse of whole armies but airpower is at your advantage just examine your UFOs closely!
And once again you will gratefull for the green engineers as they build dirt airfields swiftly what is literally vital! A noobish last turn BV achieved.

Well, that was very strict. Last turn TV?! Never expected such a thing but yeah, I almost lost this scenario! Enemy naval presence plagued my crossings since heavy artillery needs those bridges secured... And I not had enough prestige to build an airfield in the beginning while the nearest enemy airfield were three turns away to seize.
This campaign is insanely hard and utterly challenging. Not to mention that if I not achieved BV in the previous scenario I got a longer, defensive line of scenarios. That path may would easier...
