Oops, they caught me. I wanted to play the entire campaign with aggro maneuvers because I thought it would increase movement by 2. But I didn't notice that it didn't work, i.e. the only played with 1x aggro maneuver and the second leadership was missing . I changed the setting starting from scenario 5 back to the originally planned property "Overwhelming Attack" (like Chris). I corrected this manually in the AARs and probably forgot about Gomel.lvjtn wrote: ↑2019-12-25 22:25, Wednesdayvs.Parabellum wrote: ↑2019-12-25 20:26, Wednesday 4 Gomel lttv (+41 kills by )

not to meantion tanks can't get aggressive maneuver as a secondary (non-class related) leader for a long-long-long time
I don't have the save games anymore, but: during the past 2-3 years i still have seen a couple Aggro.Man. raising on tanks. Don't remember for times before that.
Chris, thank you for your good memories . It shows me that my decision was not without foundation.mythos wrote: ↑2019-12-26 19:42, ThursdayI don't have the save games anymore, but: during the past 2-3 years i still have seen a couple Aggro.Man. raising on tanks. Either this change has been rolled back or was accidentally overwritten during an update at some point in time
1. Chris has not "good memories" but he made false allegation. aggressive maneuver was disabled for tanks as a secondary leader before sept. 2010 (i guess when new formats were raised), and i checked the changelogs, it was never rolled back, and there was no reported bug about it in the past 9-10 yearsParabellum wrote: ↑2019-12-27 08:00, FridayChris, thank you for your good memories . And Chris is right. I briefly searched JP's CC archive and found a run by Arathemis (CC1 from 2006). Here, a also received the leader I wanted.

And there will certainly be other examples if you keep looking.

I think the idea is good and worthy of discussion because the goal of the campaign is completely different from getting as many BV's as possible as quickly as possible. This requires a complete rethink in the conduct of the war. The only question is whether the players are interested and willing to play.randowe wrote: ↑2019-12-28 15:03, Saturday Maybe we can re-run CC18 as an official CC77 MONSTER TANK CHALLENGE next year after CC76 is done and dusted?
A official MTC with predefined rules on prestige levels, leaders, reloads, and stuff. The campaign is there so we just would have to discuss the rules.
Just an idea
