2. kishinev - lttv +2 leaders (+41 kills by )

started in the north-east, killed units there easily till reaching the northern airfield, there i wasted too much turns to kill the soviets in the hills. i could reach the southern region and the killer pz reached the 4th bar and picked up a leader (not the best, but not the worst either). unfortunately cpt. Arathemis couldn't kill all units in the south-west, my core and romanian allies should neutralize a few of them

sold the temporal fighter and a non-free regular in order to stay below the cap: upgraded the 15 sfh to a 21cm can be helpful in zhitomir

restarted 2-3 times to decide where to deploy what, but there was no good solution: strong soviet guns were everywhere, and cpt. Arathemis could only operate in the south + south-central path, the commies in the north were killed by other units. i'm more and more behind Para, but i got so much and so good leaders (awc fighter ) that i won't replay this for a better result. purchased more tanks, arty, fighter. i hit the cap, but i need larger core to surround the enemy

restarted it a couple of times to find the best deployment positions. at last cpt. Arathemis started in west, cleared the commies around the initial german deployment zone, turned to east, killed more units, but before reaching the airfield turned to north, cleared the road alongside the river, then turned to east on the northern bank of the river, rushed to the three neighboring vhs, killed units there and turned back to west and killed more encircled units. the rest was done by other core units

sold some temporal recons to stay under the cap, and os-ed all free core to max (i was also thinking about upgrading my tb, maybe later)

6. novgorod - lttv (+50 kills by )

i always loved this scenario, and this time the turn limit didn't matter, so i could try an unusual approach. i ignored the southern deployment zone and cpt. Arathemis (after clearing the neighborhood of the initial german vh) turned to south and with the help of the temporal brückenpioniere, jumped from one "island" to another. 4 guns and planes helped my to kill all units there, and as my main core took the eastern and south-eastern vhs easily, ai purchased several weak units around the last vh+sh in the south-west, which were easy preys of cpt. Arathemis. it's the first time my monster pz killed more than Para's, though i played one of my all time favorite scenario, i'm sure there will be scenarios where i'll be less successful

cpt. Aratemis was the leading units of my assault kampfgruppe. the 17cm beast and other guns softened everything, my overran the remnants. i sent 2-2 tanks, arties, inf and one rcn to the south-eastern immediately when i reached the junction (it was important to take a potential soviet sh asap). after clearing sevastopol, cpt. Arathemis and the hordes of guns turned back to the north. soviets bought at least 10, maybe 15 crappy inexperienced units there, feeding my monster pz

Arathemis started at the south-western corner of stalingrad, cleared the city (but not the western and northern pockets where the soviets refused to retreat toward their vhs to defend, they simply stood where they were i should send a few core to kill them and waited the reinf coming from the north. my monster pz crossed the volga, killed the commies there, though a few soviet tanks on the eastern-central of the map also refused to do anything, and cpt. Arathemis missed them

upgraded three panzers and kept the new fighter. checked the price of the tiger (>2000pp)

i think it's better to insert a screenshot about the movement of cpt. Arathemis' panzer (basically it was a zig-zagged horizontally mirrored letter "z": south, south-east, north-west, north-east)



started to hate overwatch. commies sometimes sent a hopeless inf toward it, despite of it was spotted and ai didn't attack there with a stronger unit so i tried to lose some os points from it and didn't upgrade it either. instead i upgraded two other tanks (one pz iv to ausf. h because of the cap. maybe i should sell one non-free tank ). during the scenario i bought a brückenpioniere and two recon cars, i sold all of them

cpt. Arathemis started in south-central, turned to north, cleared the vhs around the airfield, then turned to west, liberated viipuri, then went further to west and killed some soviet tanks operathing there, then returned to viipuri and turned to south and killed the encircled and softeened soviets there. some core deployed at a port liberated the western bank of the bay

replayed it 3 times as i got much worse result than Para (+30, +40 kills) before i found a satisfactory way to win: cpt. Arathemis started in south-west, killed the soviets near the south-western airfield, then turned to south-east, after crossing the danube, turned to north, after liberating budapest, turned to south-west, and killed the units between martonvásár (central airfield) and székesfehérvár (central, western-central vh). bboth big guns, two recons, one tank and one inf escorted cpt. Arathemis. the rest of my core slowly damaged soviets on the central front around székesfehérvár, and tried to block their movement. i purchased a 5-6 cheap sdkfz 251 recons for this task. my awc figther was busy to kill soviet airforce in snowy turns


now i upgrade my obsolete stugs and start to purchase spads for the last scenario (yep, they will be inexperienced, but i plan to buy 5-6 overlapping spads, we'll see how effective they will be)

restarted it several times, not because of any bad results, instead of killing too much -- with other units: aggressive ai is so dumb, and recklessly attacks against any odds. so after several tries i left half of my core behind, defended only the very small area around berlin and the airfield, and cpt. Arathemis killed half of the soviet army at the end of gt-8, when i slowly started my counterattack: which meant i tried to surround the separated soviet units to prevent their moving up and down and my monster pz haunted them one by one. the last vh was frankfurt an der oder, where ai recruted 15+ romanian militia to improve my stats

sold a spad (due to cap), upgraded another tank, a fighter (this rocket fighter has insanely good and unrealistic stats), and os-ed a few things
