Crashes under modern windowssystem

Peg is an old game and sometimes you got crahes under windows 8 or 10.
I think now i have found the reasons for most crahes :
Virusscanner. If you play and an scan for viruses starts the game crahes sometimes. So Antivirusprogramms should be deaktivated when playing.
Popupwindows. If you play and a messagewindow pops up a crash happens very often . So you should deaktivate pop up messages during playing.

Perhaps try to run them in compatibility mode may also works (dubious) or use VirtualMachine what emulates Win95\98 under XP, 7 and 10 (a hell to make it work properly).
Best thing: Bash the Microsoft workers' head to teach them an easy concept: BACKWARD COMPATIBILITY
Apart from these PeG works fine on Win10 with HD patch. Or at least I not experienced any problems so far.

Good to hear it works for you, i also had not really big problems , only when a virusscan starts or a messagewindow poped up.
