One thing is for sure... a lot of new wars to make scenarios and campaigns on... well, some are old wars already.
Ukraine against Russia, China, North Korea and Iran (I must be forgetting someone).
Thailand vs Cambodia. India vs Pakistan. USA against Canada, Greenland, Panama and Venezuela (ongoing list).
And the Middle East Riviera war...
Oh! And the EU civil war... to decide to which super power Europe will surrender itself...

Its not only Switzerland; some fellow was saying on PT TV that 1502 people had died in New Year celebrations around the world.
Can't imagine where fellow got that figure from... but I suppose he may be talking sense... lots of factors in favor of "accidents".
Starting with so many people going around with vestiges of blood on their alcoholic flow.
Here in Portugal we even got an homicide by stabbing in a New Year celebration context.
That one may had to do with alcohol but I suspect there were other more important factors.

But above all, at this point many Venezuelans must be asking themselves if they'll have a better or a worst year in 2026...
