Greetings all,
I have one map where the choo choo has no tracks drawn.
Is there a way to get the game to draw tracks on the map?
I know one can add an airfield overlay onto the map, is there something similar to draw trackage over the map without having to edit the actual map file?

Unfortunately it is not possible to draw tracks in suite. You could switch to a tiled map and then add the railroad but then of course you would not be able to keep the map picture.
Which map is it?

You can also draw the tracks on the map image and change the mapx file --> a new map number is needed.
You can (less elegantly) attach a new drawing with the tracks (and a new name - it can be with letters --> e.g., for map 267 --> 267a) to the local MAP directory provided with the campaign. In the Polish e-file, some campaigns starting with the letter D (converted from PEG) had this solution (terrain mismatch in PEG and OG).
For my maps, I made a few experimental images in different colors than the official maps...
There's another solution (I don't recommend it) --> ask the player to turn on labels during the game --> they'll see the tracks that aren't on the drawing (the tracks must be in the scenario) --> I've changed the label file to symbols that don't interfere with the game...

Map 367 depicting Wieluń.
Might make a new map when I'm doing the finishing work. For now I'm still in the first test run...
Don't want to use the ugly solution of course.
I'm asking because here's a quote from the wikipedia article about the town:
Rail connection links Wieluń to Poznań and Katowice. The line was built in the 1920s, as the junction of Kluczbork remained within borders of Weimar Germany and direct rail communication between Polish part of Upper Silesia and Poznań was impossible. Therefore, it was crucial to construct a brand new line, which runs from Herby Nowe to Kępno. The line was one of the most important connections in the Second Polish Republic, but after World War II, when Kluczbork was annexed by Poland, it lost its importance.
