Greetings everyone!

Truth to be told you were all warned right by the topic's title.

Ages ago I created small pieces of melodies (please, do not laugh!) but in the turmoils of times (were lazy like usually) I forgot those.
Times passed, dinosaurs extinct, galactic-scale wars raged, the usual and casual stuffs. Then when I checked my hard drives what to keep and what to clean I rediscovered these stuffs. And even started to finish them. I mean I really did and started to finish one of my projects! < Here could you applaud! >
I not say the end result is good or genuine. It passes I think. But I thought it would not hurt (except if you get angered and flood me as a mad mob) if I may share it with you.

The original "snippets" were created by a software (forgot it's name) what made for Win98. Then I switched to Cakewalk (not sure still this is the name of the software). Merge and effects done in Audacity. But because they were still crappy and I had no clue or skill how to equalise I used free AI to find and eliminate the most obvious errors and done the equalisation. I not say the AI not left errors in the mp3 files but less noticables than I left.

Anyway, the zip has the 11 tracks (originally planned 12 but the last one I would use for another project, it were to "out-of-place" here):

I hope it would be less disliked than I expected. And sorry for the use of AI in the fixing but I could not solve those stuffs myself...

I will ask - under what license do you share these songs?
For example, can they be used?, changed for use?
I ask because maybe in the future I would use them for some "smack" or background music?

However, the videos about OG (this is not malicious) are of poor quality
The units are small and blurry (I apologize, I would like to help you if possible)
I see that you are uploading videos in 900x720px resolution
Do you play on such settings?
Have you tried playing on 200% zoom settings, for example?

nothing laughable there, in fact it is more on some romantic or "cryable" side were you in love maybe 30 years ago ...well done, yes many digital talents plus most imaginative OG mods (we talked before many of own problems and easiness for me, so no repeat but tried many), from not so artistic person - i'm local detective & investigator here but looked gladly at it as i always look at small and not so small instrumentals, epic etc. more as tunes for listening than for use personally. as said, while nice it is more romantic but took it and looked, it is nice... agree also you share it via unofficial site, like you want it just to give it to anyone, even use it... if doing something profitable with talents, hope you find some market, maybe some principessa, surely faster than me and own interests ... don't know if you missed but some members showed with musical professions, iirc, just saying while i know nothing... well i spent more time than usual in pub thanks to it also like sometimes comical tone, something i'm trying to do in pub while doing serious topics, also just saying and like "angry mob" fun

Consider my stuffs as Creative Common 3(?): Free to use but big no for sale (I not want to sell these 'cause I not see there'll be any market for them). Also free to use parts of it (even remix if you want). There is something about "give credit" in C.C. stuffs but it's up to you, I not stick it.

YouTube is a crazy b!tch... Most videos get blurry after upload and need to wait&watch ~20-30 seconds to "suddenly" become more sharp. I also noticed that YT sometimes modify resolution (maybe it's SD-HD conversion is bugged?!).
I use Radeon ReLive for record. It either record in the games' native resolution (800x600 for WH40k:RoW, for example) or in the resolution of my display (1280x1024). Those videos I edited in OpenShot are usually 1920x1080 or in a 4:3 scale ratio (1365x1024 the highest). Everything else by terms of resolution is usually occurs after YouTube finished with the upload-convert-check-publish train.

I shared so far 3 OG vids. Two were recorded in an old version I kept because the "original PG2 feel". Recording with that the overlaying windows (like turn summary) not get recorded at all. That version runs in 1024x768 resolution and being very old I think it not yet implemented zoom function (or it not works with the key-combo of the later versions).
The never version (like I used for the BI demo record) matches with my display's resolution (or the closest to it). I usually use the newer version of OG for building e-files (not yet, those on a pause right now).

Your videos are nice. I see no trouble with the quality. Units visible very nicely. I favour to see more from the map but that zoomed kind of play also has it's own charm. And since zoom level could be switch there-n-back it seems as a "best of two worlds" kind of stuff.

I would pack-up a BattleTech-related "album" soon. I need to consider if kept it as 29 tracks or add a 30.th (the one I not put in the "romantic&said" pack) after some additional editing...

Finally, I process each video in VSDC Free Video Editor (this is a challenge for me - only the English version, good tutorials are also in English - I don't understand much of it)
However, the ability to significantly reduce the size of the video file (to find a balance between the desired quality and the file size), to select the best video and sound encoding drivers - are very important
