A few low res snippets from Vilar de Mouros Festival.
Multi genre music festival nearly ending for this year (23, 24, 25, 26, August).
In my case I would probably be more interested in Ornatos Violeta, a Portuguese band with a strong emphasis on complex lyrics delivered at cruise speed.
They will close the festival tonight, but here are bits from previous days...

btw, if i never said - and i said many things :p - this tune is one of my life melodies, part of me and have it as ring tone/tune for years on various phones ;

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJcdI1CyoBI

...or NY version, various versions but always same... so when there is incoming call, always that dramatic feeling and role playing. Don't know have many philosophies, but could be said kinda feel close to main character etc. but in less drastic way than him :) but that's me and things i seen in life so some disbelief surely arise, not to call it negativism about our role in universe :) ... but he is good guy after all. anyway, shoul you hear phone tune near you, i might be as well...

not sure if i ever gave this song, think maybe yes (talk too much to remember) but one of my tunes for "upping"... some Czech band :) and this one is my fav from their opus, during sundays often some guest and few strong drinks and (even without it) great for some reading and "feeling" some medieval material ;

can imagine George "golden fork" Brankovich and his black knights listening to this, "gearing up", before going to slap Hussites... (or Miluten celebrating Jerusalem capture with it) or was it vice versa in Hussite case - but great tune of era and r'n'r for knights in era... whish i was there sometimes, belong there with drunk knights, swiming Maritsa with Turks, hairy ladies and all ... :) again, sorry if repeat really can't follow all but great one and trully like song and version

Krless group definitely already mentioned, not to discourage because it is a very good inclusion.

And now "russophoby" with the Great Gates of Kiev, by Modest Mussorgsky, the ELP version...

here's also one live, "woodstock" & i finish on subject

people to see what kind of instruments produce music and how it goes, if you sit far away from Evros/Maritsa and us catholics the language is Latin (some vulgar), arguably one of greatest we ever produced as continent...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m7nkkctyB8A

duet to many Italian wives back in days, we called it "mother tongue" in Rascia & all facts about us slapping others with catholics are true and great... but we were drunk, drunk with own glory... anyway, nice version and special praise to "trumpeteer"

Not the best sound quality...
A circa 20 minute vid of "Hardcore por Ódio", Brasilian Hard/Heavy band.
Clicking "more" text will reveal links for vids of "DZK (Dizikilibrio Social)" also from Brasil and "Acidez" from Mexico.

seen some yellow pages news how Djokovic Djolo was seen with some Albanian singer which likes to wave Serbian flag etc. so i wonder is this the one: :lol

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQwVQoC3mxE

little humor, do not follow tenis nor Alba-pop (why so orientalistic i always wonder, from tribe that is with Basques so old in Europe, not migrants like some)) nor any yellow pages, nor any of such music - but heard that they have some singers abroad, never listened that as well - to which i offer my company anytime :p so wanted to make joke with Djolo while in good spirits, when it comes to sexappeal of course i support one from Albania...

Already got that it was about but ended up not having listened until now!
This a cool one...

And now for those who may find Joy Division sometimes sounds a bit like The Velvet Underground.

i know i posted the video before so do not mind, but is very well done and one of my favs in some moments ; ...however when i posted it before i had different story, but i realized that maybe many people do not know what is behind "liking" of me (and maybe many Serbs knowing detail) so to summarize it in nice way, it is also interesting for every reader worldwide...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PYv9C6J4ytw

so we always say did "Hollywood" ever made some "big budget" movie about our historical subject... well Ridley Scott as more than prominent filmmaker (regardless if any of his opus is of liking or way it presented it) made this movie where main protagonist is of famous IV Flavia Felix legion, although fictional but could have been anyone like ; ...most of 4+ centuries legion is mainly related to today Belgrade and province roughly similar to today Serbia if you did not know that, even if local person. So in that sense could be locally "cult film" for history lovers here ;

makes first few minutes of video and film different when you know "they are our unit" and Russell local guy spending much time here, our hero :) very grateful to Scott, crew all for including that part in story and legion in film, to summ this generally nice story if never known for people liking pop culture and why we noticed this film :yes

Chief of Smoke - Horsehead

This one came through the algorhytm while I was listening to an old Portuguese prog rock thing.
Couldn't be more fresh in opposition: "no views - 1 hour ago".
From the titles I thought "what is this? Indian rock!? Let´s listen!"

Completely out of my beach, but this one is not for me.
This one is a piece for Master Randowe; to climb the Hills of Katmandu and soar way above the negative vibes brought about by provocations about "superior and inferior provinces".

Post 1800 at Concert Hall was the Digital version of Tubular Bells.
12 tracks of it. 4 are two versions of the whole thing, the rest are curiosities.
Work in progress versions and this at the end...

...and - to continue - they are totally bad in wars and football :) (being basket champs only))

happy Duscianomas to all celebrating, feel so festive today, so our pals Romans (Gypsies) won't mind for choosing this extremely funny song today as addition (all in nice spirit:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VOjpxHcN2BE

namely in the 90s our then president (finished in jail) and habitants claimed that there is Egyptian minority on Kosovo so very talented group of comedians and imitators, known for political satire made short tune on that subject imitating Roma's music and with text: "my wife considers herself Cleopatra, no end for my happiness I'm Rameses the Third" :) ...always was advocate of a bit un-PC humor and will die like that, so do not mind but short tune very funny and certainly look at, guys were very funny back in days... happy holidays again.

to put this here, in much better version ; ...thanks to Trinchieri :)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3l9a1uvoIp0

you know why interesting to me, except song of course ) ...we have some "puritans" who argue how Italians pronounce some words and letters and are our soft and hard "ch" and "dj" or "gi" present in their speak, and hence how to write words like "Ancelotti" for example with our letters... I always say they have difference (may be regional, but unimportant) - and our "softs" are 100% OK for Italians... listen how he says "cercando" - it is soft ;) while "đ" or "dj" always as our like "giuro" but he even says it on "DJ" where shouldn't" as English acronym :) (but not so controversial as soft "ch")... and so on, Italians by my experience has difference and soft versions, might be regional as said, but present... he did use hard version i think on "calcio" btw, so might be more on "ce-" etc.
