Guitar Wolf - something this crazy can only come from Japan. They call their music style Jet Rock'n'Roll - in practice it sounds like extremely loud and noisy garage punk. Legend says that when they submitted their first demo CD to a record label it was returned with a comment - "unfortunately this CD seems to be faulty, it's only noise, please send us another one".

Read the introduction to the japanese gentlemen, hit the first link and start listening to a steady repetitive bip and I think:
Man, these guys are really into strange! Do they mean Sputnik or a dripping tap?
Then I start writing this post but the upper case doesn't work.
I finally notice Project Apolo is lying over the right end of the keyboard.
Well, it was another space ship than...
(Project Apolo is a 5 kilo male cat; there's also Project Minerva the 3 kilo female)
Lets keep it in space than... two different takes...

The Coathangers - probably best known of the bands i showcased here so far, formed in 2006 as a joke (the members couldn't even play their instruments back then), 13 years and 7 LPs later the joke is still ongoing...

Luther Wright & The Wrongs - another alt-country gem from Ontario. Best known for their 2001 joke album "Rebuild the Wall", a note-for-note cover of Pink Floyd's The Wall played in bluegrass country style, but their own material isn't too shabby either.

Emily Davis & The Murder Police
Emily Davis first became known on the interwebs some 10 years ago for her acoustic covers of punk rock bands (mainly Bad Religion, some others as well) that she posted on her Youtube channel. Having been noticed by Jay Bentley of Bad Religion who encouraged her to start writing her own songs she recently released her 4th LP.

The Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band - hillbilly blues played on instruments partially modified / improvised (washboard, cigar box guitar / diddlybow, plastic buckets for drums etc), known for their crazy live shows.

i already talked about it back at JP's, can't imagine ancient/medieval historical research without instrumental (sometimes called epic) music and going through movie like images i.e. scenes in head and watching scenes made by others in films with critical/subjective distance, able to create own scenes... you should try if never did, but be careful not to chose wrong tune for wrong paragraph or source
combine interests in life and stay objective to "good old fashioned slaughter" ;
https://youtu.be/lCGC8yTeML8
old tune and won't post anything more, known and unimaginable in cinematography... nothing special pals just showed how it works. i had more contacts through life with old Rome not to think just about its army and can disagree with many "facts".... although, have role written for Crowe (time passes, be fast)) - one of our imperial dukes in XIV century naturally

short synopsis (for fun and humor) .... he is loyal to our emperor but fall in military trouble in Albania and is disliked by emperor's half-brother who is ploting against both of them... betrayed and captured, sold to Byzantines, fighting in Asia... returns home after emperor is killed (poisoned) in realm of that half brother, hiding identity.... well you get the idea of general plot and end )
now just to chose armor for Russell.... no, not that, no, bigger....
would be alright, nice person

... that's too far and so Youtube is a good alternative to listen to this music.
