Battle of Sesena -BV

Never thought a T26 could be such a Ran out of ammo at the end which means only 11 and not 12 or 13 kills that other people managed. Also less exp. After a few bad starts, moved the tank to the center to help the recon go West, and then back East for the wold series overrunning. Clear who designed this. Well engineered and BV just possible if you get your brains to work.

Battle of Lake Khasan

I am the Red Army, so men are expendable Lost 5 infantry units and a recon.

Bought the recommended units - after getting an Air Defence proto which I thought would be useless, but got a few shots at Jap planes with devastating effect. And OS-ed the T26.

The started well in the North, but got stuck in a massive traffic jam in the mountains Anyway, 10 new kills and 162 exp.

At HQ, bought the recommended units + the Inf I guess I forgot to buy last scenario. Again OS-ed the BT-7 for more overruns. Worked fine as I lost no sp on it. A totally different story for the TB which I flew into a nest of AA guns Big loss of pp. During the scenario I used the pp to buy the best bomber the pp would buy. Will probably sell it again. Sent a quick group N and a slow group S. The slow group contained the heave aty and have AA. They could not get up and saw zero action. I am not an attachment fan, but maybe I need to see if there is an attchment to increase movement.

3 less kills on the BT-7 when replaying for BV (sticking to the rules). Had the BT-7 go East around the mountains only (fast route to the final VH) instead of a bit East first and then swinging back West of the mountains to clear things up there. No time for that slow move now.

Your results were just as good now.
Switching from T-26 to BT-7 early is obviously the best choice -> more movement -> more kill (why didn't I do it? ).

Battle of Grodno - BV

At HQ, bought the inf that I did not have enough pp for last time because upgrading the T26 to BT-7 and OS-ing it. Plus the advised units.

Having played this before, I knew where the Polish forces were (not). So no need to carefully scout with planes and recons until arriving at the key cities. That left plenty of turns to let the do most of the kills - overrun party. Used the planes to attack harmless enemy infantry far away from AA guns.

At HQ, I bought a heavy tank.

I formed two battle groups, an armoured one and an infantry/aty one, forming the mottis for the enemy. The tanks were encircled in the middle of the map, but were on clear ground. That made the enemy attacks without much result. The inf stayed behind and protected the aty. Both mottis caused big damage on the attackers. As soon as the attackers were destroyed, the colums moved forwards. Last turn BV, with the doing almost all kills in the center and West. Did lose quite a bit of sp, but looking at the available prestige, I guess that was the idea of the designer.

At HQ, replaced lost pp and bought an aty, a MG and 2 Atk. The MG and Atk gained experience in the SE against the fortress. The Inf never got to the battle on time. The and the best aty started in the NE. Supported by the airforce, a few recon units and the inf there (that was suicided) weakened the path for many overruns all the way till the most NW VH that got taken in the last turn. Not by the BT7. That was overrunning a batch of AA MGs (softened by suicidal aux planes and the 2nd BT7. The core fighter did get the 3 Finish planes, bringing the number of air kills to 10. Still having fun.

This was absolutely insane.

First try: "I have good tanks. I will set up a defensive perimeter and hold off the Germans while the wheeled units escape." Predictable outcome. If only I had read other people's AAR.
Second try: "Not a good idea to defend. Just run." Failure. The units I had did not run fast enough.
Third try: "Sell the useless slow helicopter recon. Buy some of those racing BA-20s. And run like hell." That did it. Congratulations to Mythos. I only killed a few German units (that were in the way. Did not seek to engage them) - he killed 23 .

This was also my problem. The rise of enemies exp is really out of nowhere.
Because of this I would never try again to get best results in the first scenarios, rather making the rest of my army stronger. I am exited how you will make your way to 3rd Kharkow, although you surely will get BV, because you surely will have the experience with some OG factors that were just too new for me.

In every Blitzkrieg campaign, your units have at least 2 to 3 experience bars at the start of the Russian campaign (to Poland, Norway, France and South-East Europe). At HQ, repaired stuff and bought a heavy aty.

Deployed all T34s in the South and used them to clean up the egrman second line. The heavy aty supported the center and the heavy tanks and light aty the North. Advance in N and S went well. In the end it were all the ski units that reached the NE VH in time for BV. Had I known that the ski troops would have reached that VH in time, I would have had the T34s clean up the complete center rather than move North to noly get a few kills there. Too late now.
