well as Jan said in the briefing `a core killer` he was right reminded me a little of shitomar
sent a couple of arty,infantry and a tank north to secure the a/field, in the south a tank,recon,s.p.arty and a mobile at where sent across the river to occupy the southern defenders.
burger=2 sturem paras went to the far eastern vh the o/s leadered burger went north
rest of core straight down the middle stopping at the river so arty could soften up defenses so i could roll in
weather here was a great help with quite a few snow/rain days which greatly aided my airborne troops

the b/burgers and fj flew s/e to take the sh
plan started off ok enemy subs and destroyer took out by 2nd turn vh secured by third moving inland b/burgers poised, turn 3 sh secured ready to deploy rest core then rain rain and more blooming rain
crossing the straights and advancing by land got a little hairy
bought some subs to take out the jap navy but that hampered my forces landing
scraped a last turn BV

All arty minus mobile arty,ad 2 tanks deployed up north to blast a hole in the defence line

turn 2 success both objectives achieved the north army then pushed with reinforcements s/w & s/e

Fairly easy end to this cc
sold the navy spent money on o/s my `shock troops`and buying a V2
Once the b/burgers took the s/v hex it was plan sailing with my recon plane doing the spotting and my V2 doing the blasting
my troops made swiss cheese of the enemy

At first i didn`t like the tiled map but it sorta grew on me so much that i`d play one again without hesitation
my only other comment is thank you Jan for keeping this an auto refit campaign or i would of been in serious trouble in some places
