I missed the BV by one turn. The weather was to blame. It rained the last three turns and I could not use the superiority of the Luftwaffe.

I wasn't sure how to distribute my units on the map. I was expecting reinforcements north-east of Borisov, but I was disappointed. So at the end of the scenario it got exciting because I had used too many units for storming Minsk that I missed at Borisov.

Again, I wasn't sure how to distribute my units on the map. The distances to the VH's were long and the strength of the defense was unknown. I formed three wedges, each with a tank and many aux units, and hoped that there would be no cluster of several . That would have been an unequal struggle. But they stayed defensive and so they could be defeated one by one.

I started twice. In the first attempt my units east of Mogilev and during the storming on Chaussy (in the south-east) suffered the greatest losses when the Russian launched a counter-attack with several tanks and cavalry. The red airfleet also attacked. At that point my planes were far from the front line because they had to load fuel and ammunition.
In the second attempt I concentrated my tanks in the south and was prepared for the My own planes were missing again, but I had positioned a few ADs to ward off the enemy bombers.

The task: destroy all (18) MSU. They are located south of Berestechno at the river crossing and around Dubno.
Rovno must be conquered and held in the east. A Soviet counterattack can be expected here.
I killed the last MSU on the last turn. It would have been possible a turn earlier, but my tanks ran out of fuel .

Five VH's have to be defended. Two were lost and had to be recaptured. The other three held up.
Two VH were in Soviet hands. Only one lap before the end could I take the last of them.
I got the second leader - "Skilled Reconnaissance" again. It's absolutely sickening . The really useful leaders get the aux units .

I wanted to buy further artillery, but then I noticed that the units in the north-west are helpless without a temporary bridge pioneer and that the enemy VH's are difficult to reach in the turn limit. So i bought like hoza and plan to invest in a artillery at a later time.

I don't like this map. Too many rivers and destroyed bridges. It's like island hopping in the Pacific.
Fortunately, there are enough aux bridge pioneers and I was able to sell my own temporary unit and fill my bomber with OS. I improved also the transport on the 3.7 Flak.
On the western edge of the map, I was surprised by a Soviet reinforcement that stabbed my units in the back. Tanks are also waiting in the south-east, preventing the last flag from being captured.

The prestige cap was close. That's why I initially only invested in OS. After a few turns I had enough prestige to buy a third artillery.
The defense was fierce. Stacked units were waiting for my attack in the central VH. I bypassed the position and attacked from the east because the losses from an attack across the river coming from the west were devastating.
I couldn't take the small flags in the south-east and north-east. Too bad.

I liked this scenario, although two VH's were defended by stacked units. I formed two groups: one went north, the other east. The two groups later merged north of the Oka River near Orel. The Soviet troops were very passive. Even units in sight were not attacked by them.
I lost very little OS and was able to look forward to two more leaders.

Another balanced scenario. No stacked units, but all heavily entrenched.
Crossing the rivers takes some time, because AT defends them well. My tanks carry the greatest burden of the fight and have the heaviest losses. The entire OS remains intact for the next scenario.

this scenario essentially corresponds to the known SSI scenario. There are minor changes. Most VH's are defended by bunkers rather than by infantry.
I had most problems conquering Solnogorsk in the center of the map. I had no 8.8 and no strong tanks there. The Soviet KV decimated the aux units considerably and only with the reinforcement from the north-west did me the decisive blow succeed.

The defenders are entrenched and hold on to every hex stubbornly. It is the scenario with the highest losses for the aux units. The ratio of lost units between attacker / defender is still a good 1:10.
Three turns before BV, the Soviets receive reinforcements on several front sections. These are aggressive and try to win back VH's.
Despite all the adversities (General Winter greets everyone), I also consider this scenario to be very balanced.
Current scenario: Istra, VH prestige is 0 , All map prestige is: 40

Good balance again.
Tanks occasionally attack the flanks of my marching columns and cause considerable losses to units in transport mode. General Winter determines the weather and the German Air Force has little chance of intervening in the fight.
The VH in the south-east is defended by stacked units. But that's not a problem because my attacking units are still at full strength.
The VH in the north-west is also defended by stacked units. Conquest is more difficult because the attacking units have lost a lot of strength along the way. The AT bunker is particularly dangerous for the tanks and my KV is about to be scrapped.

That was the hardest thing so far. 2 turns before the end was Cpt. de Mont Tonnerre and an MG unit destroyed by Siberian reinforcements north-east of Moscow. But it was the last scenario and so they should rest in peace.
The Kreml was defended by three stacked units. Most of the city's defenders were with 8 entrenched. New Soviet tanks spread fear in the open terrain. The Soviet KV-1/40 have GD 18 - this is a big challenge even for the proven 8.8 (HA 12).
