I spend over 2 hours at HQ trying to find out which units to buy. Imho, the ground part of my core is complete.
The tricky part is: there are only a handful of scenarios left to play, and several unit classes gain XP slowly (i.e. inf units suffer a lot of damage if they shall gain XP, that's tough with no auto refit, or aty units are generally slow).
I thought about AT units, in particular the M36, but those are rather defensive weapons and if the AI sees those, it will probably not attack (i want the AI to attack and get into aty fire), thus i would only use "half" of the unit.
After an hour or so i realized that summer, respectively better weather, is on the horizon, and thus aircraft are a good choice. I looked briefly at bombers, but wasn't quite satisfied, so fighters it was.
Finally i got back into playing mode: i personally need recon units to be happy, thus after some 90 minutes i had bought the first new unit (Curtiss rcn), quickly followed by number 2 (M8 rcn)

With the addition of 2 rcn units - which are rather non-combatants respectively supportive in nature - i needed a fighter with lots of yoghurt, thus i ended up with a Twin Mustang rocket-"bomber".
West: rcn car, non-leadered M26, M40, M41, 2x aux 75mm gun and the aux M4 Jumbo (which served as a block to protect the core M8 and aux guns in first turn)
Northwest: M4, M40, M41, HQ and least-experienced eng
East: leadered M26 and M41, HQ, most-experienced eng and eastern auxes, i also send the battleship here
Hungnam: collected 2x 105mm aux guns (west), destroyers (have Support Fire) and nearby aux inf to populate the city, rest of western auxes joined later
Lost the aux Twin Mustang in the air war, and the aux jet barely survived.
Could have been BV in turn 4, but with [Hold VH] condition, i repositioned and waited for enemy reinforcements to arrive.
