Merry Christmas to all good generals :howdy

Unluckily, I'll be out of duty for several weeks, as my wife broke her kneecap and I must take care of her and all the things she used to do, both at home and her business, until she gets better and can walk by herself again.

Anyway, I'll try to upload last maps ASAP

Merry Christmas to you all! :howdy
Here it's not Christmas Day until January 7th. But as I was born a Norwegian, we have a little celebration at the western Christmas too.
All the best wishes for your wife, Luis :cool

and Merry Jesus to all our dear and loyal bots too! :)

Luis, even if you never return thanks for all, pitty that generally game did not reach some more active following, as well as is unknown to me why base game (and PG 1) are so rarely included in some list of "most important TBS" etc. stays with me anyway, though more older eras person...

will use this time and chance - who reads me knows - for little fun facts and to share brief interesting things who likes..... as in previous case i'm in some environment where people use terms like "catholic/orthodox christmas, western/eastern christmas" and similar. Well it is more about use of calendar and stubbornes of some branches (which i like as Roman)) so mere techical rather than canonical or traditional thing, as all our states accepted gregorian one, but some churches (which is part of eastern autocephality in national ones) stick to Julian ; for most part of history we all used Julian and why some churches often say that "they stick to traditions".... first fun but unimportant fact. other interesting things, if you followed me also - "three fingers" was very much papal "signal", also pope Inocennt III - who was related by marriage to our first Nemanjic ruler oldest son and reinstalled "primates of Servia" title after huge events etc etc. (i talked who likes) wrote that "catholics also use three fingers to make cross on chest, first touching right then left shoulder" :) which is today more orthodox form etc..... many fun facts i always like to repeat to people in some times, esp. intereting here as we were in times continental curiosity and it seems in close ties with both official and senatorial/communal Rome as i talked.... brings a lot of smiles though sceptical how much people beleive something not from TV but at least i told them ;) ................(but i never tell them that we stick to Kesarian due to our roots before Slavization :) and Julius is responsible for Augustanus.... and during him you know...... it would break their hearts)))

Want a Christmas tradition schism?...
You need go no further than the Iberian Peninsula.
The big day in Portugal is the 25th December (or the passage from the 24th to the 25th); in Spain, of what I've heard, its the 6th January...
I bet some people around the Peninsula do have two Christmases, one on each side of the border... and each side of the year...
