Combined Arms Units Close Defense?

Post by jcoles »

Just a thought about tank/infantry combined units. Shouldn't they have a higher close defense than just tank units alone?

IMO it is hard to say what is the best solution. I guess there's no right or wrong :dunno

I agree that combined units have higher close defense than single units.

I believe I remember this from the RSF E-file (PG3D). There were two combinations here.

1. StuG III G + Infantry: The close defense of the StuG III G increased from 12 to 15.
2. T-34/76 + Infantry: I don't remember the individual values, but the increase was about +2.

This information is not guaranteed. I can't check because I don't have a current installation of the E-file.
I also don't remember if there is such a combination in one of the many E-Files for OG.
