Healer Units Max?

Can you only have one healer unit at a time, because two times now I have bought a second one and it won't heal units

The healer ability has to be set (number of sp healed/turn) by the designer when the healer unit is first deployed in a scenario. So healer units can never be bought by the player. Only upgraded when there are units/upgrades available. Same mechanics apply to supply units.
