I consider the Kuk General campaign to be one of the best available for Panzer General. It is well designed, well documented, and the difficulty level is balanced. It also features creative new features such as minefields, submarines that can submerge and surface, and riverine naval units (Monitors) that actually existed and navigated the Danube.
However, when this campaign was ported from PGDOS to PGF, there were some glitches (and there are at least two versions). In the first version, the main problem was the ANCONA scenario, which was impossible to win (despite destroying all enemy units), so the campaign could not continue. In the second version (labelled 1.01), monitors cannot move on the Danube, and submarines have lost the ability to surface. So, a third, revised and corrected version was needed to address these and other minor flaws and propose some small changes, while still respecting the game's original ideas.
In contact with Steve McGuba (developer of the original KUK campaign) I have made a reviewed version.
If anyone is interested, please contact me and I'll send the files for this revised and debugged version.
And to all the PGF campaign developers, thank you so much!!!
I've played (and continue to play) many of those campaigns.
