Thank you for the forum welcome. So I have opensuite but it wont save changes I make within it? I get "Encounter and improper arguement" when I right click on a unit that i am trying to change but after i hit ok twice it lets me in to the unit to change. I hit save and it doesnt give me any error but when i go into game no changes were saved. I thought I need PG2 suite and not opensuite as on your tools page it says not valid for PG2 by opensuite? Maybe i am just not doing the save part right? I also am getting something about flags in a pop up and i hit the chiechnow log file but it does not make the box go away. Guess i am doing something wrong :-(

So when I go to load saved game I have a drop down option in "Files of Type" for PG2 but when I go to save i only have the "save as type" ogen option with .xsav. I am guessing this is the issue. How do i get the "save as type" to have the option for pg2 .csv so i can properly save? Thanks :-)

I'm sorry for misunderstanding you. :doh

I thought that you meant OpenSuite regardless you wrote PG2 Suite :bonk

The link I posted is actually for OpenSuite, which is the tool to edit OG files (not PG2 files) regardless it can load PG2 files to convert to OG.

To load, edit and save PG2 files you need to use PG2 Suite (https://www.luis-guzman.com/zips/SuitePG2_429.zip), but be cautious and backup your important files before overwriting any; it is a rather old tool very seldom used nowadays (if any) and I maybe it can throw any annoyance.
