PBEM Narvik Scenario - Deployment Issue

Hello,

Recently found OG and I'm enjoying playing it with a friend.

We are playing the Narvik scenario in the PzLIGA files. After purchasing units, neither of us can deploy the new units. The Deployment screen shows no valid hexes to deploy to. I've looked through the manual and I'm a bit stumped.

Do certain scenarios not allow for Deployment of new units, and if so, is there a way to tell that in the settings?

I haven't played this scenario. But in general you need a deployment hex on the map in order to deploy your unit(s). If there is none, you can't deploy. Just the way it is. Anyway, hope you'll enjoy playing OG!

Do you mean the 1940 Narvik -- GJ -- [OG] scenario? I guess the players are not supposed to buy new units in this scenario and have to work with what they get at scenario start and what they get as reinforcements throughout the scenario.

There is no way to tell if a scenario allows the deployment of new units just by the settings. You could analyze the scenarios in SUITE and see if there are supply hex. A supply hex (or flagged port in some cases) is needed to deploy units once the scenario has started.
