So what can I do until the next maps are finished (which will take a long time)? Play Weltkrieg again!
I will stick to the 1st February version of OG, so I don't have to deal with the HQ crashes when buying units.

This time I went with the core Dimitris chose: two motorcycle flaks, two motorcycle infantries and two mortars.
I could not get a BV and then played until the very last turn.

Invasion of Albania

At HQ I bought just a Italian cruiser.

My habit of not letting the aux units get too many kills really slows me down significantly. I miss BV and then shamelessly capture all flags and destroy all enemies (that I could find) and play until the very last turn. Gives more money too...

Battle of Westerplatte

Bought a fighter, recon plane and engineers at HQ.

I left it to the aux units and my fighter to destroy the enemy bunker in the south, so all of my ground units concentrated on the Westerplatte.
There were no problems, so on to the next scenario!

Battle of Hel '39

I was not happy with the units I bought and so I restarted the scenario after few turns and bought a AT gun, a tank, a recon and a cavalry.

My fighter got a dev. fire leader. I'll keep it for now but might delete it later. So far I declined all other leaders.

Operation Weserübung

I chose the recon proto again. Thanks to my last run I am better prepared this time and know what I want to do with it later in the campaign. At HQ I buy another destroyer, fighter and bomber. The player also gets a healer unit.

After deployment, when my army is approaching Kopenhagen from the west, I already sent few fast units up to the north. I have no paratroopers but the fast units arrived in time. The new recon later took the leader trigger in the city.
No problems - easy peasy

Battle of Narvik I

At HQ I bought para engineers, a recon plane and upgraded one destroyer.

I missed BV by one turn and then played few more turns so I could destroy some more enemies. The panzer engineers took the trigger and I chose recon movement. I want to experiment with the bridging unit and recon movement combination. River crossings should be faster when the unit can move next to the river and onto the river hex in the same turn. We'll see how often in this campaign I will use it

Generally I don't want any big guns this run. The job will be done by bombers. I plan with 22 bombers, 5 of them recon planes. My artillery will be mobile and should assist the tanks. That's the plan!

Battle of Narvik II

At HQ I bought another fighter and bomber.

Deployed my ground units around the various VHs. My destroyers layed a minefield across the fjord, like I always do. Though this time I had no problems dealing with the enemy navy because my planes reduced the enemy battleship to 2sp before it got near my own ships.

There's always this one enemy MG in the south that never moves. It is visible because it is near one of the player's flagged hex. It is not a big deal, but it really irks me. I have to do something about it. At least deploy it out of sight of the player

I wish I would get a recon leader for one of the bombers
