it is baby one very nasty game of factions, very deep and very masked at moments that it is almost impossible to track it all and just some "soda" version of history is known generally etc... it is important to look at all as one continuity and other things i said before not to repeat, with to me unknown starting point and importance of every event i.e. its proper readings factionaly (they were never same, except few conspirators hehe) and also views changed etc. but some things are visible...

you know also what i remembered, something i mentioned few times but never told you all... that de la Broquierre episode and all, man full of nice words for Serbia and then our ruler George Brankovic... of course French (despite Burgundy once being different) and worked for Bur. duke who was related and even from main French royal line... BUT in given moment France was not only in known war against English (and us all)) but also in some semi-civil war with Bertrandon's employer and duke of Burg. Philip, talking about Bons, also le Bon :) being in moment of his agent meeting with George, important - Brankovic (if you followed) - ta-daa allied with English ;) and his troops even captured Jeanne Dark :) etc etc. if you understand, me not to waste words... so George was "nice, rich and Serbia thumbs up" for him etc. Of course we have nothing to do with Joan episode and she was our side before ) but hope you understand this as well, to extent... factions baby, factions ; Of course Philip of Burgundy later changed sides and supported new French king, his relative from main lines etc, but in given moment was with England... we also later of course supported French kings - directly from empire of heaven :) lovely, and i really hope people understand all theoretically

also are interesting these few moments of few French mentioned on Turk side, possibly even on Kosovo against us etc. I wrongly interpreted it as some "Templar remnants" (which was true for those who remined in regions after our crush)) but it wasn't that.... could be that France, or some French factions, allied and cooped with Turks much before than they quasi did in XVI c... so in peak of hundred years was (as explained it was continental war) maybe Frence and Genova already made some contcats and ties, partly against us as well, but this is deep subject and just as shortly.... kiss, kiss forgiven as you helped us after our return from empire of heaven :)

lastly and to go back earlier in time, much more pleasant... it could be that it all started with that increased desire to revive "holy roman emperor" title after long decades and when we seemed to be agreement with France and supported Stefan and Charles C. etc... but something happened then and factions created, it was almost 60years without holder, one Habsburg tried and was killed, Luxed took it and we and English fastly tied with Bavarian and that German sides etc etc. Generally it is something about it and around time of its revival - so many decades after Constantin Staufen we all turned our backs and new rivalries formed.... generally not understood enough, but as some historians called Stefan Anjou (king of Albania) intervention and all after Sicily esp. as "first European/world war" - events after 1308 and kiss-kiss on Lys but you pull out and we go to Palpatine and that side :) could be called "second euro/world war" in some light sense ;) And hundred years war was part of it... some say if Ludwig lived longer it would be much more widespread potentionaly but as it was - it was localized as "Anglo-French" war so on continetal periphery :) but really it was continental war and we had role, but of course our factions were "good guys" :yes ..... :) ...i say always, Turks ruined a lot of fun for us, but what to do now... it is XXI and it is only about Uranus, but who likes hope you can understand even closely all i talked ; ...awaiting you, and if subjects are unpleasant, something earlier maybe, Stefan was great hero :) ...but generally there are much intersting ones from even before so we can talk XI or XII ;

really when you arrange some pieces of puzzle correctly you reach some "eureka" moment and there is one flow of solutions and ideas and many things become clearer...

totally unimportant example but with this solutions i gave in last few posts even "trivial" things like Abraham Ortelius map map become clearer, his seemingly deep knowledge about Serbia (to repeat he put even it twice on map as rascia and Serbia, while he did not even mark some nations etc. knew our medieval cities etc) so i guess that is solved... not only that he knew about us through Italian travels but also Ortelius was Bavarian origin man, living in Spanish Neverlands, Flanders etc all once also connected with Burgundy etc. so could be said that our fame was still strong there in his times and similar. It were also lands of where "black rascia" was also widely wear, together with Spain and England, but rarley named so in France and similar :yes Guess ex-Burgundy was place of our fame and could be connected, plus his Bavarian roots, so guess XIV events were still widely known in his time and our role "respected" or valued...

not so important but even those small things let's say solved ;... lovely stories and guess it was why HIM declared empire as well, people banged heads for long with it as it was not small thing to do in high middle ages when whole Europe was connected and it was not early middle ages when anyone could do it and papacy and "Roman" emperors role was weak - so my proposition, and not only mine is that Dushan and Ludwig had great laugh with it, but great respect from Luxemburg side which waited till our emperor gave green light again in 1355 to crown their own candidate etc etc. to stress out or underline again. lots of subjects, hope someone joins and we look at some things together...

yes, i BTW found original and much greater maps of Europe by Ortelius and talking about his "knowledge of our cities" :) and not to confuse some who may use it ) to say that on continental map he put some 6 cities in both Rascia and Serbia and they are something like "Taunanburg (or like) Dragusa, Kargona or Zargona or third" etc :lol so great knowledge :) BUT i was talking about further maps of regions he made where he put some really obscure places and cities that did exists in our state but were already abandoned and ruined by his time, Stalac(o) etc. so great knowledge while on greater map he put some names more like from Tolkien books or never heard ones hence my laugh

BUT again his placing of small Celtic village and suburb of Singidunum on place of Belgrade, village not even known much by Romans, and not called as such by both Serbs and Huns then was shock again - and he gave correct name of it Taurunum :yes how come and why no idea but lovely and would die to know which map or advice was base but super... would like our capital to be called Taurunum today, again sounds Tolkiensque :) and cool but was real name by Celts of today suburb

Château de Chenonceau, place where one tapestry is preserved depicting Kosovo battle etc... as it is medieavl-renesance made often is credited as one of preserved documents of Franco-Serb ties and similar... Revolutionaries wanted to ruin it along along other places but it was preserved due to bridge mostly ;) also was known place of origies in XVI c etc...

BUT with this knowledge and all considered could be said that tapestry - similar to Bayeux one which depicts great victory of our pals Normans against Dannes :) - this one is not at all sign of "Franco-Serb" ties but included in royal "decor" in those years to represent great Frnaco-Turk victory over Serbs and English :lol so be careful with interprets and ways you see history :) most seriously

but lovely... historians say to me that maybe much more places in France (often ruined as well as archives) had more facts and maybe material evidence of some our role and involvement but did not survive due to plague, papa-Jacques and all events... but hey, for historical correctness it is important to say that our relations were not "positive" nor one way, but in huge animosity as well etc etc. so hope i'm adding and very very interested of every detail and similar... wiki pages are very wrong that "our first documented (while mostly eaten)) ties" date to marriage with Helen Capet etc.... there was documented ties with Bodin and Raymond of Toulouse (once center of Visigothic kingdom as well etc), documented (in sources way) ties with Normans etc... if we are to go undocumented maybe as far as some early centuries and even some idea that both were centers of some Celtic states before etc..... BUT again very careful with interpretations of our relations after some 1308 and tepestry as said :) .... :p

couldn't gain complete answer to this day on roots or specificness of French pronunciations and speak, so maybe oif you have some idea also interested... if you know what i mean, for example we all say Karl and French Sharl etc (later also carried to England in some version) so i have no idea what is base, maybe some Gaulish but doubt? ...so also interesting subject to me.... also while i put English among "ekavian" it is known that they call "E" as "I" in our and similar... so generally also subject i would like to know more and what is suspected reasons etc etc.... but generally linguistics are just secondary subject, hope you can join with some valuations of historical and political events of era as i presented and where you agree/disagree....

I mean as an observer (if not upgraded) in Frankokratia organisation i have at least right to ask, don't I :) ...you know also what is interesting and why i express some doubts, as we also have some proposed Gaulish words in language - said intentionally Kalish as suggested is that our Scordisci and Serdi etc are Gaulish not Celtic globally etc. - but they don't have that French sounding at all, if you get me :) nor are softer or softening or softier etc. So "i" propose also sluga (court title also again) and often mention as example and is word found in Britain as almost similar or pejorative etc... and it doesn't have that French "schmek" if you follow and is more connectable with Britain Celts and not Gauls, so clear.... so many things and solutions are dubious to the bone and it is in some false stage as science, overly politicised or similar.... Taaa-daaaa since i used by chance one germanism and it is language generally full of "sh-" starting words example i gave of Charles (written as Stefan in French again)) and French pronunciation actually IS original Germanic maybe and Karl we mostly use is our hard-elite Latin one, ha! ...but evrything is dubious, i mean first part of sentence while our hard elite K is true, but is Sh actually Germanic etc etc.

so very dubious and speculative solutions all around and quasi ones, pardon to pros ;... but of all known things to me is the best that we have some Roman military and elitist words (and to extent Greeks but they blew up with their AI spelling that confused others while they kept E)) but we above all, almost nobody else use :yes If also turns out that names like Preneste and similar are our word Italians changed not to be related with us :) - super ;... nothing to ask Italians on those subjects as i'm more expert for Latin than them so they could only ask me :) but remains open question and call for some that could help me with French and am i right about this also... not offended if you won't join but will continue with details from our history papa-Jacques actually DID NOT eat :) ...so, French ruined dam on Marica/Evronos river by the order of king Stefan V and prince VI Valois and then............ :lol

and it seems that French pronunciations were already "legendary" across whole continent really early so quasi is story that both in Bruges (so some Flanders) and on Sicily (probably elswewhere but known examples) their enemies forced captured French (or suspected ones) to say some words they couldn't and similar, quasi as story ;

very good example of what i was talking about (modern) Greek and listen carefully ; ...but they have dual use of it, guess based on some their known rules and lots of "ikavian" examples in contrast to us etc. even slightly in name of tribe as we would say Kreeks or Helenii and they often "Elines" etc. or example of famous sport club -aikos versus should be -ekos, so there are some their grammatcical rules so ask them... but could be said "ekavians" esp. in ancient language.... btw, river name is Evros and possible (though maybe fictional as whole battle and it was natural freak incident) "Turk commander" that crushed us maybe "osmanlised" once Evronos :) ..... :lol as said take whole event as mythical and maybe totally untrue from eastern sources, but nonetheless river name i wrote wrongly :)

Itanian-Canadian author demanded taking down of nice video i posted as very interesting to understand elite Latin... guess his right, but not something uniformelly used on youtube, as many bands' songs used by others should be taken as well etc ;...anyway to repost it, glad he included lyrics in video, very important and he used elite Latin pronuns - so not only that it has few our words but also melodics and way of speak closest to Serb ekavian etc so worth having and listening for understanding reasons as previous was again taken down....

...instead we demanding him to take down our song :) ...don't understand at (not that song thing)) all above historical stand of some nations, above all Italians and Brits/English as they knew some things about our older history and similar but also about our alliance in XIV and XV, but they decided to stay "low level" or quiet/pushed on it and it is now more some puzzles and similar (while they are hiding as "my precious" some pieces of our nobility clothes in museums)... if you get it no idea why, country on most "emperors" bones after Italy (and maybe most legendary legion bones) and so on, but it is just puzzles and similar.....they all not to lynch us because we did it to Christ? because we crushed all you? becuase so stubborn in defence of Kesars reforms of kalenda? Three fingers? :) ....anyway, talking it all to conclude that cutest and funniest thing to me is that we "eaten" or hidden own "ee" in name of tribe, as well as to tribes as Greeks etc. for unknown reasons, but as said it is due to reforms of language in XIX being influenced by western regions speaking person/s and they already "eaten" E in name of our tribe long ago before ;) but doesn't matter at all, of course Serbi and it is not political question at all..... something else, considering previous posts humoristically - as we concluded that "SH" is germanic as said, thought about St Giacomo Colonna - it seems that our original should be then Giacomo "Kara" Kolumna :lol (if you followed)

looked little at all those "shatos" in region "Loir et Cher" and to me personally this Lavardin is most beautiful :yes (not royal one) thinking about buying it :) ...and it seems that papa-Jacques once stayed in it and it was exactly the one with most documents about our events :) ...join me on some questions from there. Unimportant, but looked and it says we are "associal (-ated) member" of Frankokratia... don't care but generally funny as Greece, Albania, Bulgaria and Romania are full members and we again something else like in middle ages and Frankokratia is going around us and then crusade..... :) (just missed Hungaro-Croatia flank) ....as said not political nor linguistical and not "frankophone" world, nor they are importing any migrants to us ;) ....it is lovely as some respect of history in that sense and of course they will gladly allow some erections to Nemanjic dynasty.... and of course George above all :) ...i don't speak French but it is one lovely (hehe) language i will never speak :) but really like european part of "frankokratia" as i like history :yes again open call for help from there, would really like to "read" or totally get into all events in XIII and XIV, but earlier as well and i think we had a lot of ties (really in contrast to "Roman" and German which are clear, Franch were much harder to read and decode so still some help is needed).... about Vercingetorix I always say to French - it wasn't quite as presented and we gave him clear options, but then.... blah blah :) most beautiful is our legendary "punching" of Frankia in XIV no sarcasm :yes

already talked, but now as i very expanded whole story and we reached some conslusions - and it is not just Edward, Ludwig and Dushan (and of course often forgotten Andrea due to size and his republican status, and at least in moments Kantakouzenos etc) alone as some rulers and elites around them - i say again what also connects them is approach and grants/support to spiritual franciscans, William of Okham, Petrarca and really range of figures and factions etc. that often attacked both Luxemburgs and French, verbally above all. So i'm 110% sure in that as historical truth of faction/alliance, no argument... Edward maybe tried to stay "unvisible" but all around continent knew that behind Dushan is directly "Roman emperor" in times, Ludwig and why they released Palman and avoided battle with HIM etc etc... so when you add other figures and factions i mentioned it was one very smart policy for times and prepared, not any incident nor mindless attacks etc.

...however moment regarding us that most confuses me, and i also mentioned, is that "attack on Argonese" which doesn't fit at all and it happened in some 1340s for example, time when there was evident that Luxes will react to our policies and that there will be attack on France soon... so any clashes with Aragonese were not in interest.... could be interpreted in various ways, or did not happen in some battle way and maybe they gave some territory to our faction and Dushan peacefully. As first option... second maybe just intervention because they spread outside of Duchy of Athens borders so our king "corrected" border back, second. Third Venetian wish to force Aragonese in alliance, similar to Kantakouzenos so Dushan acted as "fist".... or those were not still fully accepted by Aragonese and were still maybe "Catalan company" that Aragon did not recognize as "their" fully...... or, finally last option or interpret - Dushan still acted in agreement with others as "good cop", versus Edward being "bad cop" for example ;) and relatively speaking of course as he was also relative of French kings etc. so quasi he showed some care and (as Miluten before) quasi punished Aragonese and protected French widows there, with small humor... also why he maintained some channel with papacy, wasn't any balancing at all and "two chairs", i read it as someone whose role was to try to show French that "he might be their friend still" etc (also why he and Loius also avoided longer wars)

however you read it and interpret it i say worth adding for lovers now when i greately advanced whole story - as it is moment that doesn't fit from our side, but it does fit or is easily fittable if you consider what i said as possible explains above... while in "war" we still showed friendly face to Franks ) ....question of "good and bad guys" is irrlevant but hey again just for fun as those were by some western historians "first european great wars" glad that our most potent ruler of time was on that side, haha ; if not sainthood status by us, he gained immortality in history of Ecumenical patriarchate as (together with Michael 8) only "Roman emperors" or of these parts excommunicated by it :) ....if you get it, that's where, due to small details, still need some help from France for example to successfully conclude story of "what happened" from 1316-13xx, if you agree with this as probable version of real historical events, guess English and Germans would ; and so on

great is confusion on many things that at first look less important and and are but if you try make some detailed picture they confuse or distract... so only one page i've seen says that papa-Jacques was "a Gascon" (origin) and none else mentions it, while French would not agree :) group related with Basques or Vasks. If so it fits in his anti-Scot stance :) (as Gascons had some English alliance) ....also one page says he was son "of shoemaker" while most say son of merchant from his city and one of merchant and moneychanger ; (not impossible both but...) If son of moneychanger it then explains his crusade against Miluten as our king was known as one distributing fake money around continent :lol ...and so on

or that lovely story of Napoleone Orsini, cardinal and one whose influence and "grey eminence" role in Avignon spans few popes and was almost "motor" of few events, though during Clement (as most) temporarily aligned himself with Colonnas but it fastly went into another rift with Rome and Giacomo fastly "returning" where he belongs to say ) but Napoleone had great role and one cute name ) and yet another Italian that built his name mostly on French soil (today and then more-less))... couldn't miss it. And why is (to me) that possible rift among Philip "iron" and Charles "C" so interesting and why France was something else... so while quasi "close relations" or two full-bros are often mentioned, since Boniface events it is mentioned that Charles wasn't in agreement with Philip etc etc... so was it really as i see, "putsch" by Charlie C. and different stand with papacy by his line, that iritaded all and also reason for "puching" by all, really interests me - must say, see small confusion and uncertainty in French knowers on it, but it was intended as such i guess, almost like our events in way that role is uncertain ;....so why i ask for opinions.

France in times, highly recommendable subject but in "tiny details".... laughs and tears guaranteed, often together... Oriflamme knights :lol ...was it really needed such "game of destiny" that one of main faction leaders/motors was Napoleon :) and many such symbolic things... but ultimately i developed some affection and is connective, so careful with what their kings really thought, as said few times... and careful with Stefan Anjou, often called leader of "guelph faction" in Italy and there was arguably no greater "ghibellinichina" since Barbarella on the field :) and he was "pro-papal" only if popes agreed with him ; ...lovely, given some focus on figures of both royal brothers Charleses (no, not "the fool")) especially and also why i ask etc.... as said million are subjectsand impossible to see or cover, so if you have that "eureka" moment and like themes, grateful to pointing what you see as crucial, don't be shy at all....... exchange-office owner's son declaring crusade on famous coin falsificator, hahaa :)

one more thing - really among millions - from my earlier notice and to understand additionally some humor....

so in short, one realtively unimportant pope dies in 1342, same year of death of Napoleone btw ; - and next pope, Avignon and French one for total laics of course, so line like "rift with Rome" are fun... hastly elections are made in Avignon - btw story also but for story - French king Philip VI seen on Crecy photo above :) sends his son Jean le Bon also above ) to influence elections but he was late :) nonetheless their candidate was elected and became pope despite Jean being late as at Poitiers ) ...so new pope is elected that seen further complications in continental relations, Clement VI - and in his time Luxemburgs take "king of Romans" title to frustrate us and Ludwig, but also our king elevates himself and other interesting things in his mandate (and of course death of Ludwig as greatest punch) also btw and for story, just to say you to recognize known figures and who supported who etc

but now for that humoristic detail, as i noticed some time ago - he made all cardinals French very soon (already dominant from before) and as said "with a strong accent of the Auvergne" region ; ...so my humor is clearer if you know older history, as it was tribe or confederation of Vercengetorix and we responeded with alot of kesars :) so not only humor at French generally but at this cute detail as well, hopefully effective )

....on Stefan-Charles again.... it is not about that nor that, nor my liking is about "his manly nose" to quote Dante :lol Yes, was capable strategist and personal high courage (alleged)) is unquestionable, nothing less significant architect :) but really like him for other reasons, not just for that or his struggle with papalitaat (calling it funny but it had zero German-cardinals esp. later as said)) or with our old rival Byzant... no, no, not exclusively that. While i before praised Louis IX and Philip IV factions (as i defined) as looking more "outside" (while Philip dubious as ever but he took it, Louis great example of few lost interventions outside of continent)) now I also respect Charles A. (and maybe C.) as, being some imaginary counterfactions to those two they led more "isolationistic" and better said "continental policy" tying with us all and similar so in contrast to many who see our deals as maybe imperialistic or based on greed i see them as cooperation and based on some new likes but with Franks etc etc.... maybe not even trying to explain it deep, just some feeling that Charles was OK and, while we theoretically had Louis daughter and Philips "ear" and coop maybe few advices as well - it IS documented that with Charles A and C :) we had alliances and similar and together we led engaged and responsible continental policy, perfectly said :) punch to Flanders, punch to Byzant, punch to Aragon and so on :) ....really not even trying to understand but something brought me to "liking" Charles and again it is not exclusively Byzant nor papacy thing... like continental policy ) ....maybe feeling is that we all punched later French "bit too much" while they were not "soft" at all by their alliance with Turks and sending us "on heaven" :) ....IDK, Stefan was alright and responsible politician hehe... finishing and i hopefully gave few answerable quests to French interestents for goodbye, really intersted and find forums best for it )

great are stories, no sarcasm and so many details people simply don't know and maybe also good illustration is title of "Charles Anjou" (Stefan Capet) photo in Wiki "some old guy" :) (chopper of heads))... simply don't know which to present and when etc. which ones you maybe know so not to vaste words etc. so hope you can build some picture on your own with just some details now and then... but you should join above all with something

our ties with Wittelsbach family, of Ludwig? Old, by moment of culmination in XIV at least few centuries, but who knows from before ;... so one who gained almost whole Bavaria after our "old pal" :) Hainry "the lion" was deposed was one of closest allies of Barbarella, hero of some battle around Verona which enabled Barba easy pass etc. And one who almost killed one then cardinal and later pope whose mandate spans important events in our history, rise of Nemanja etc. On some imperial session... with battle axe. (but Barba intervened) So we were very much in ties with Wittlesbachs from long before and important is to note that they rose to power (while older) during Barbarella times, us we to extent :) AND important as taking Hainrich land, man we punched as well when we could :) When same cardinal become later pope one of first to "bow" and recognize papal authority was then Hungarian king, son of our wife of previous and speculatively aunt of Nemanja... but that is contested and not sure as well as from which line was Nemanja.... of course we've taken different position and Staufen one and it proved in practice our ruler man in some great touch with Barba and also Wittelsbachs etc.

hence is interesting that moment of why we and some Roman factions later abandoned Staufens, supported French etc. i tried to give some answers via eventual help of Constantin (Fredie II) Staufen taking part in some attacks on commies under Luca Savelli :) but was it just that etc... or offence as he spread falconry and dog breeding around continent 400 after us, without even mentioning us in Wikipedia? :lol ...lovely stories, hope i with very few words made even this tie with Wittelsbach closer, and their gratitude and urge to reinforce and defend us (with lives) in XIV century ; ...so we should erect something in Bavaria, most definitely :yes (most attacked, hidden and ruined nation sources/role of meds is our, if you get it, but it survived in some frame.....)

video was shot in our fort of Smederevo (or Semendria or similar) made by George Brankovic ;) ...so i "intentionally" posted other video as our role in "Templar heresy" is objected by yours trully :) as lyrsics are "anti-Serb" as i put :) ....OR just because and invading knights represent our forces, Grebostrek, so Swedes know history ) ... but Philip was saint )

really how big is gap between myth and true history is really this subject "mythical Templars" and like to deal with it...

really from continental to (quasi) global stage, people don't realize they were more bankers and engaged in various corruption than any fighters in 1307 ; ...but on local stage I "like" texts writen about some "templars" on our sides in later battles, 80 years after destruction and ban :) or some "orthodox templars" even and so on, great falsificate of history as they were catholic to the bone, more than any other feudal nobility knight would be.... so myths, while not impossible that French were for long (as many others) among our armies, but no flags of banned order nor any members, haha ... more French were with Turks though as explained and it was their and Genoese ally :) kiss kiss remember Lys - but for truth on events

But and for lovers and our people not me to spread confusion - so i say to our people liking history again that only few months after destruction of order our "holy king" makes series of deals with French royal brothers Philip and Charles Valois so if our kingdom was even "touched" by question and felt any closenes with Templars it would never happen... our king financed French not only then but for few decades and is main reason why Dante mentions his money at all ;) and couldn't care less about any templars :) It is 2025 and time to stop lies and really some science and research to win :yes Templars, last time also, were also on our borders which surely disturbed Miluten in time when at least some tiny factions talked about attack on Serbia etc etc If templars were around in 1316 and papa-Jacques was really serious about any crusade Templars from north would gladly answer his call against us :lol so time to look at facts, while my joke about Grebostrek and them is humor, Miluten and him for sure killed quite few "turcopiliers" (Templar title again) recorded :) that much on it, 110% with Philip on this, in dissolution issue, legal process and punishment is something else ;... that much about Miluten and our royals, as for other later battles they did not exist and probably more concentrated in other form in some Iberian issues ;.... in time of our big battle theoretically could be on our side AS we were indeed against punched France, so not impossible some ex-Templar even on Dushan side as explained as we were on english side - but they did not exist nor carry any flags nor "orthodox templars" ever existed ;.... looks like minor subject but often misunderstood and missused mythically so i really hope i explained... while there is no record of any our battle against them (as i joked) there is no reliable record that they were on "our side" and Miluten would surely arest them if could, that much and they surely did not like our royalty nor nobility for same reason... but again, since time of Dushan and onwards, till fall, it is NOT impossible that some descendants of ex-Templars joined our armies as we were strongly anti-French camp there so possibly that some "forgiven Miluten's sin" :) etc etc. BUT French are recorded on Turkish side in those times and battles that kicked us out....... nice video haha, and glad we had few med remains where something could be filmed :) like angle from bird persepctive where Danube looks like almost sea coast so some film about St Stefan Anjou could be filmed there insted of Italy :lol (it is just keep or inner city of much larger fort and probably city which did not survive) but priority is now that we became "return hubs" even America offered :) (lots of money for some corrupt ones, don't see any other interest, just btw subject from news lines)) .....really hope i explained templar quasi issues well, some our people quasi like subject but don;t understand it fully, so hopefully clearer of what was and what could be.... always join from some other place to look at some issues ;

After assuming the throne, Philip inherited a sizable debt from his father's war against Aragon. By November 1286 it reached 8 tonnes of silver to his primary financiers, the Templars, equivalent to 17% of government revenue. This debt was quickly paid off, and, in 1287 and 1288, Philip's kingdom ran a budget surplus
so who is saying, who is lying as song says ) - that Philip did not repay his (not even his) debts to "great fighters" ;)

BUT...
...the deficits continued to stack up in 1293. By 1295, Philip had replaced the Templars with the Florentine Franzesi bankers as his main source of finance. The Italians could raise huge loans far beyond the capacities of the Templars, and Philip came to rely on them more and more. The royal treasure was transferred from the Paris Temple to the Louvre around this time. etc
and that is ladies and milades probably true source of why Templars could have been seen as "potential" rebelious group, and armed ;... in time of events against them however other important things happened so battles of duke Nogaret in Italy :) and papacy change so even more reasons for "holy order" to feel that they are losing ground etc... but, for some minor humor - if Philip in moment was to arrest for debt (his own)) he would have to do to various Italian bankers more than Templars ;.....where Miluten fits? not from books but in Italian sources is preserved that Venetian agents (or supporters in Italy, of that faction) in times were tracking, investigating and even seizing and processing some Italian (bankers etc) hunting Milutens money in exactly Florence, Bologna etc etc. Philip and Miluten, theoretically but with truth, demand "small crusade" against Venetians and the rest is history, Vinegia erased from history and population sold ; etc etc..... so one of rulers who had the most interest to "discilinary punish" both Venice and Templars was Miluten etc etc. but friendly :)

it is almost horrible what could happen to man (Philie) for just listening to our king...... :lol hope you understand anything, old but gold subject... hope you join with something else, how come nobody blames Albania for destruction of Staufens and all imperialism :) but seriously something else you like, this is i hope filed and understood again, while nothing is easy but in case of Temps most interesting is question of - how come even one of most powerful monarchies and crowns was in situation to be in debt amounting almost 20% of state budget to "poor warriors" :) ....as for other joke about Miluten being crucial - it was various opinions of many monarchs and for example i say that even in 1330s and further, others monarchs gave some options to French kings but things went as went and Crecy and Poitiers, fallof Paris happened... so despite my joke, it was never one monarch why giving example.... of course, some distinction among those punished by Philip and some maybe simple members whodid not have anything is also noted for end, so i told whole story that maybe some went to HIM and rest..... look at positive side, our money did help renesance :) ..... :p

long time ago i presented paper found in France where is writen "We our majesty king Philip do not owe any money to Templars and they are satanist" :) so it is source :) ...lovely and funny subjects - of course even that eventual huge rift between us and France and they also owed us money :) ...also like how our ruler George met with Burgundian agenst just few weeks before arrest of Jeanne Dark, hahaa... but that's to much, all lovely

btw and unimportant except that Bulgaria tried to launch herself into some importance long past it's old glory )), but see that several Eng pages use this map for XIII c events - which is let's say friendly not really 100% accurate nor true for given moment :) It is from some atlas from 1917 :) during joint German-Bulgar occupation of Serbia so why it grabbed more land than were real borders in moment ;... as said unimportant and i even rarely deal with Bulgaria - except lovely example from IX c of our Stefan and Bran old falconeers and dog breeders ; vs. Boris ) - interesting not only for this but also how old is name Stefan used among Serbs etc. which Bulgars preserved :yes ....but this map is untrue, political and during even war and occupation, so shouldn't be used , while unimportant... Rascia spread east before and Hungary kept some other regions etc.... unimportant map, Wiki is full of incorrect maps of many eras, but this one is great slip of one war-propaganda while we are not gonna punch and blame Bulgaria for it :) as we punched it enough times through history, haha

Anyway while that was distraction worth noting (and really nothing)) - main reason why i even ran into map is this article and events i missed (to extent) as family later merged with Dukas Komnenos of Epirus etc (also Byzantine enemy later)... but not because of it but because it predated and matches our kingdom creation and many interesting characters for us are mentioned... so who followed my story should read.... what is interesting - while was it really any Orsini is speculated and contested, if it was many things do fit in some of my presentations and also add to why Honorius (Savelli) and later Colonnas were our allies etc. What fits is that he feared Venice and asked Inokent III for protection and probably never accepted Venice suzerenty ; (e) ....in 1216 pope Savelli and Venice make another counter-balance not only to Hungary, dudes beaten by Baldwin the Leper :) but also to eventual Orsini posessions in area, by declaring our kingdom and our rulers of Dandolo and Nemanjic mix, so another easily forgettable (or totally until recently) but fitting moment and story to how i presented... France and its puppets are in moment somwhere in between and undefined, but things soon become intersting :) ...by this version it might be that it was indeed some Orsini again - hope you follow and understand story and even more visible that Rascia, Venice (under Ds)), factions of French, and Savelli, later more mentioned Colonnas were one groupings in famous events... but how Stefan Anjou ended so disliked by same Orsini beats me :) i propose as we and Roman factions against them were by then already married to Louis IX daughter and maybe, just maybe Stefan Anjou (so daughter of his brother was in Rascia) was distrusted by Orsini even for this, so even that could fit.... but long story just propositions, while Stefanwas far from "guelph" factionas explained and why i called us "trio".....

...and if you understand why are some facts or docs about some figures so "eaten" (obvious suspect papa-Jacques)) and blurred, lost... and why vampirism on question of few related to us, while Michael VIII even not so important for us (except that we put him to end)) even more is interesting of how long and when Raniero Dandolo held office and positions of power in Vinegia, procurator of St Mark, often more important than often old doges :) etc. If till 1240s and he never died early, it is very important if you get it, hence he directed marriage of Anna, orgy in Venice, and our rise etc etc. and it wasn't any "Anna came after both (quasi) evil grandpa and pap died" :) if you get it, think yes but worth repeating many times

also to inform internationals that whole "Orsini branch" family in that region has also some appropriate culmination or something interesting regarding us.... one of "Orsinis" much later married Dushan's half-bro Simeon (called Sinisha by Serbs) and he was the first to rebel, call himself emperor against legitimate one, or separate from our empire and even launch some short-lived campaign against Dushan's son Urosh etc. which he beaten back but southern regions lost any tie with central govt in most part... so, maybe sounds not nice, but HIM made mistake for leaving him alive..... and most of nobility.... :lol but Dushan was sensible and weak man ;

...something else and unhistorical to say in this moment, maybe even humoristical but nothing is funny... there is opinion of many outside that "westerners" are "naive" and easily manipulatible in some way, so why some always try to make some tiny "Troyans or fakes to them" via some ideas and lies and similar... while it is region that "dominated world" later (just because they were able to spread against very weak oponents)) in some other parts it remains as "easily manipulatable" image etc. so why i sometimes joke as our smart kings often manipulating French (for example) figures and not viceversa etc. and why sometimes looks more like we and Italians more pull the strings of some others etc etc being "old hares" or similar of politics.... so why today - to speak openly as ot is XXI - it is easy for various imperialists or even islamists to "peneterate west" etc etc. and they all quasi support some things people in the west support honestly, but they do not etc...

Germany, place of our many future erections as we were in peak main ghibellines in region ) is also interesting example and i repeat many times, while France is interesting as philosophical subject of "how it survived and strengthened some identity", Germany in other way and that we turned from "friendship" to great animosity in XX and similar and many facts were twisted as almost all Ger rulers and our were in close coop (except Constantin "fake falconeer" Staufen)) if you get this as well... while it was great slaughter, almost cute in some way how things went in XX c and our alliance with French, in some distant way and long after end of "ancient regime" (as French say) it mirrors some medieval events indeed....

when in "Shake-spear mode" (too often if you get it)) sometimes write some scenes and either humoristical sketches or very serious, dark themed scenes so lately wrote one of our agents making some deposits to Florentine/Bolognese banker in the beginning of XIV c.... so after short dialogue of two black dressed knights and banker in night hours after bank was closed, it finishes with lines Banker(after taking bags full of silver):"...alright that's done, just to write down in books and give receipt for your king..." sound of sword pulled out of sheath is heard, and one dark knight says:"maybe you will write it better without hands"....... do you like it, have talent? :) wanted to point with scene why some things are unrecorded in history but Dante and Vinegian agents blew our cover )

very very complicated subjects, i'll give you one detail for example and that is how Miluten in his life dealt with same line from Stefan Anjou in person, all to his greatgrandson Charles of Hungary (or Charles Robert) so French subject and lines, inbreedings and conspirations are very hard to trace, so illustrative example of our one king and whole four generations since Stefan on that side etc etc. so why help is needed and "perfecting it" is almost impossible even with help.... or, since mentioned, 4 kings in Hungary in XIV c during our single Miluten, other example.... and all four from different nationalities and dynastyes - one standard, one Wittelsbach, one Bohemian and Anjou-Capet :) so be smart, Hungary was such a chaos and not surprise we were most stable kingdom during peak, uncomparable to Hungary, Bulgaria and Byzant, all in chaos during times, but France as well :) .... one dynasty and almost as many kings in 150 years as some in 10-15 years :) ....why i mention, because i think not sure, made mistake before at least once (maybe) by mentioning Louis (of Hun) as suspect for Elisabeth Habsburg death, but i mixed years of reign - it was (if i said it, unimportant to check) actually Charles of Hungary or C. Robert ;) of course.... Louis reign starts from 1342 with limited war against HIM, but Charles (so many Stefans that Louis almost sounds as rare name by French)) was the one responsible for eventual death of Habsburg princess..... etc........... and when you go into details finally regarding other regions where Capets spread, Hungary etc - Philip IV is even more hard to read figure and his acts indeed look like more "in Miluten's interest" than some French lines even, so worth speculating... so pope Boniface not only sainted Louis IX but also directly supported Charles as king of Hungary during "civil war" there, but Philip acted against him :) Saint :) ...and Sciarillo ) .... sadly that all details of our and French (so directly with Charles and Philip or just one if brothers disliked eachother) deals, Lys deals, did not survive - not only for continental issues but also in regard to Hungary as it came just few months before Charles Robert take the throne of it, so almost looks like Miluten also gave "green light" for it :) ....saying as we continued relations with main line French even after deals were "on hold", Miluten calls Clement to help etc etc..... ah, bahh, extremely difficult themes and 100% understand Dushan for turning to English and glorifying Kesar, French lines disgusted all :lol

found this in wiki few days ago:
In March 2010, a mock trial of Henry V (of England, Agincourt winner etc) for the crimes associated with the slaughter of the prisoners was held in Washington, D.C., drawing from both the historical record and Shakespeare's play. Participating as judges were Justices Samuel Alito and Ruth Bader Ginsburg. The trial ranged widely over whether there was just cause for war and not simply the prisoner issue. Although an audience vote was "too close to call", Henry was unanimously found guilty by the court on the basis of "evolving standards of civil society".
so if such "serious figures" could deal with trials and revaluate events and similar, why not we as well :) ...but hypoctically ) for such "sewrious country" and "lighthouse for evolving standards of civil society" :) - must say after looking at all figures represented on relief i mentioned regading Inoken III in congress, it is bit strange that quite few were involved in crimes and various wrongdoings and very dubious if deserve place and representatives in congress daily to pass their heads :lol ...so mockery, good word.... anyway, if you have some detective "click" and know something always help me with many things i mentioned, no shame if speculatively, what happened in XIII and XIV, French above all, maybe even you know some Hungary details etc, what i miss... did you also sign treaty with Turks on Lys in mid XIV against us? :p

generally just another example of anti-Serb :) acts i.e. views of history.... both mock trial and relief ;... too many to be normalized and acceptable ) but our rulers and acts were class above and just for example compared to all great powers combined etc.... did i tell example of imperial guards and other one? :) defense of Tusculum? of Preneste? only foreign emperor ever excluded by Liciniusople? :) ....and many more

anyway, read quite few books on subjects through life, and now when we reached some conclusions together, elevated our knowledge and are nearing end to also say something BTW regarding few conclusions by educated historians regarding our ex-trio members in times... unimportant who wrote nor i'd ever remember but few lines that remained engraved in my brain were by one historio "Venice did not trust Dushan enough or blah-blah devil they don't know etc" regarding full alliance... other historian wrote, now on France "France had no interest to defend Serbia" etc. ...while maybe true for some other factions on example of Venice, such lines are disappointing from educated historians again... in moment of Dushan, talked, Venice was fighting for survival really, worst crisis period maybe in their history and was totally unable for any offensive, historian should know. So question wasn't about that, should be mentioned first before some similar lines... regarding example b) i.e. France, also every historian should know that in moment of "help needed" really from 1360-1450s France also was in one of worst crisis :) so educated historio should know and some huge engagement was out of question ; ...so almost cute turn of events.... however, line about France is to say less untrue as we concluded and we were de facto "in war" with France, so even if could France would not help :) ....but objectively speaking, if you disagree with my conclusions i believe in 100% i.e. our and French animosity in crucial times - most important conclusion is that objectively our ex-trio was totally unable to help more, even if wanted as during HIM Venice almost fell, while during our fall France fell as well :) and so on, wanted to point every historian should note whose things in books first....

IDK, really my view is, humor or not, that Frankia and Genova almost "invited" Turks directly and above all against our empire, in explained and given situation... and as events showed Turks first organizedly struck us and went to defeat our feudal lords first and only then some southern regions of Greece and Constant itself etc. so how i see, France and Genova surely played role and it was maybe in their interest, but in case of both, they also had factions.... even think maybe some small way of "redemtion" or "guilt" is that figures from both Genoese region and from France felt urged to be "little louder" or pro-us etc etc... on Napoleon, many interesting theories i presented, really to latest of his (through family maybe) some long belonging to some factions etc. so maybe he viewed Serbia, as knowing history, as someone who would "disturb some their balance and pax" and maybe again awake some Colonnas and factions ;) for example.... near the end of his life, story is launched that he also "felt guilt" :) ....while for "lion of Naples" (Napoli is not Italy)) i.e. Nabulione :) it is just my hypothetical outstretch, for med events i'm more sure..... but again both Venice to Dushan, nor France to second half of XIV (even if wanted) couldn't help, worst crisis in history for them ;) always join and revolutionarize something....

really for humor, as seen i don't care much nor for many humanitaat quasi dilemmas and similar as views are often based on incomplete picture, personal bias or some heritage and really zillion undefinable things so i will not even try, but generally you get it, nor majority of people really understand depth of some events and figures etc often distracted by some things or twisted so our HIM is nice exmple of fake line and some conquest, blurring support from some intellectuals of the era, spiritual franciscans and similar... Poles are, while never dealt in some depth and propose orgy, for us giving them "alae cursarii" :) - in some philiospohical sense interesting subject and maybe one of most geniuine Slavish nations :) genetically (we call them "Slovens" word borrowed from British Celts)) (for humor...)) and so on and have some isolationists or self-protect tone in character and in a part ditrusts to all....regarding us, probably couldn't forgive us our Teutonic veterans punching them .... :lol and similar, our Roman tie, but not "neo-Roman" enough... so in humoristic way also, of course if i made the relief it would include HIM, Andrea Dandolo, maybe some Staufen, maybe some Norman ruler, Philip and Miluten for among first practicing arrest under "red notice" of foreign ruler :) (but he had laws as well) etc etc. humoristicaly while all great law-givers with lines influencing US laws )

also humoristically while their pope John Paul was i guess OK and offered to kiss HIS sarcphagus :) there is one joke about his pntificial name for us... he combined one of papa-Jacques :lol and one of Paul who killed Stefan :) so on who crusaded us and antihero in story of name most popular and carried by all our rulers :) ....don't care about modern events and similar, but where i like to joke with him is that (unimportant) approach to historical events and also by patriarch as well, as it disregards slaughters of Latins before and similar :) (burning of Ras)) ...but unimportant, hope something for laugh... always join on something more serious and to finally solve some of XIII and XIV obscured things, but good joke as well if you see something funny in history

yeah to put this also into your treasure of (speculative) knowledge, Napoli - shh, shh ) - (Naples) is btw for mere fun fact one of Italian cities, along Rome, we do not pronounce as almost 90% of their cities, "their way"... probably more examples, but two biggest and most fun, listen.... while for Rome some pan-pronounce and something maybe not our in some old way is now accepted, some things indicate that maybe some older form for us was "Ruma" as we call Romania that way, some mountains, even small city has it etc... Naples in contrast as far as i know, we pronounce as "Napuli" (with distortion) in contrast to many others, ifaik contrast to Bulgars and of course Greeks etc etc.... so there is one interesting thing if we indeed once used both Ruma and Napuli as old important cities - it is also proposed that it might be way of speak of some other Italic populations, Etruscans and maybe old old Romans as well, at least to extent... but lets say Etruscans. And in that way interesting (along name Ras as well, absolved of unclear origin) so were our legions actually mostly made of Etruscan men :) ....how we kept some small details is mystery but this one could explain our preference for arts and culture :) generally yes, some Etruscan prnounciations, maybe even old Roman, case changes and k-g changes etc. connectable too old Italics and even kingdom era Romans.... so again Ruma and Napuli are interesting for their old status and "importance" on peninsula, while we do share "napoli-" term with others for something from there.... generally one historically very unfriendly but lovely city, kiss :) impress me with something, milady....

btw, serbo-croat is maybe only or one of very few non-romanic languages that can make whole even longish sentences with latin-italian words almost exclusively, so "ochi moje vide (veni, vici so also word from Latin) banderu, na pijacu idem voljom svojom (sui) to je meta, nesto da procedim pa serviram etc etc" :) Italics would understand this, you can make many similar examples with 90% words we share - but of course languages are not mutually understandable in general ).... as said many times, more than language it is behavior of important elements in middle ages towards us so really knowledgeable Italians and (quasi) "Roman emperors", that tells much, much more of what was our status etc.... to joke again on theme, some latin speakers (Kikero) would be surprised how many "slavic" words they used, as wiktionary puts many words as from "proto-slavic" root :) ....but yes, many words went wider from us etc.

anyway, to also add - after looking :) - that Napuli is also in "napolitan", as said wide range of languages often based on pre-Latin substratums, so "Oscan" also but almost all, including Latin, to extent based on Etruscan alphabet hence some similarities in range of Italic languages and u instead o use etc. not my field by you never miss if relate many with Etruscan.... not sure if i ever said to Italian readers but "preneste" is our for "carry something, transfer something" so not impossible that Romans after conquest named place on crossroads that way :) generally, while lovely subjects will not concentrate much on it and is more/less filed and understood subject, unless you insist on something - but generally help me more with some dilemmas on meds i have.... btw, one minus is that we lost some probable historical Serb communities in Italy in various regions really from Trieste, Veneto to central Italy and beyond, unlike others but just as we better mixed with host due to common Roman past and same pagan faith :)

generally, while looking at all those events of XII c important for us (like Baldwing beating Raynald)) and looking back at XI at same, somehing i expressed before as doubt to me personally looks more true, and with disappointment due to my previous praise :) must say i don't see much evidence of any Norman and Serb alliance or great friendship :p except few lines in always dubious and fairtale-like Byzantine sources and some unsigned like "Annals of Bari" etc etc. Not even during Dioclea, not during Nemanja's etc. Rascia.... to me Jaquinta's dad was more likely Lombard, matching even name of previous Lombard leaders from Bari, but also fled and married daughter here after tried rebellion against Guiscard etc :) (with other Normans indeed).... Bodin's stand at Durazzo battle where he came as "ally" (quasi as all Serb rulers)) of Alexios but turned troops and back when Normans started to punch Byzantines and Anglo-Saxons ;) says nothing of eventual ties with Normans nor that Jaqi was of their kind - more like usual Serb behavior when they are under obligation to quasi be with rulers they dislike (so Stefan Lazarevic maybe did it in few battles, as i proposed).... when it comes to Nemanja times also very few evidence except few Byzant claims that indeed Serbs acted under any advice by Roger II nor liked him something special... on the contrary, marriage of Nemanja oldest son to Roman (and influental, later papal) family maybe says that initially our stand was against Roger. It changed during Barbarella, and we took stron pro-ghibelline stand, until fall, except Miluten's French kisses ;... to me, what definitely turned us was events i mentioned, Manuel Komenenos actions against us and much more favorable stand of Hohenstaufens, which looked like they would invade Byzant if needed etc etc... But again don't see much real ties with Normans, Jaquinta probably Lombard (bedides Byzantines report Lombards on our side during first attacks on Naissus etc predating it), Roger II and us dubious etc. (though his enemy was Byzantine empire as our)... Guiscard push greatly added and favored rise of Rascia, no doubt about it, but direct ties with Normans i did not see, after all :) so another issue where sadly some western historians, often greately influenced by sources of dubious truthness, like some US (think) mister Stephenson who wrote "marriage to Jaquinta cemented Serb/Dioclean and Norman alliance" :) are potentially wrong....

looks unimportant at first look and our stand visible in general (so any Byzantine enemy was friend)) but dubious as conclusions, both ties with Rogers and Jaquinta's ethnicity - Lombard, Italian to me... but important if you want to really deeply look at it, in small details. As said many times, looking at all, building own independent picture on all events and if you can help, always welc... much more interesting than dubious origin of Jaki is that Bodin's kissing and "old brotherly ties" with Raymond of Toulouse as said ;) once center of Visigoths as well....... i say, mainly looked at it in relation of what happened in XII, strong ghibelline affiliation later etc. so still investigating it, maybe something once... ; but generally yes, could be said that what we liked with French (Capets) later and disliked about later Staufens, hence change during Louis and Charles - is some latter inactivity and French new ideas and maybe clash with Orsini :) , so generally there are roots of mid-XIII stand by us and Vinegia....

OR - to say - if we say that Nemanja's oldest son wife wasn't from that Roman nobility, as i said, and guess of her being Conti is wrong etc. - as obviously American congresmen :) Inokent and Gregory (Conti) were not in favor of Rascia, but Savelli yes etc. - or WAS but Conti held different possitions in time of marriage etc. give third option.........

so not to make it too complex and confuse average readers, explain of situation how it might be.... Raymond of Toulouse was from start enemy/rival of Bohemond, son of Guiscard... it can be, previous post included, that Bodin was as well, or more BUT then might be that nobility from Rascia was indeed, that would to extent match later Byzantine sources, Norman ally ;) if you get it... Jaquinta's son initially found refuge in Rascia by our lords Vukan and Marko etc. but later in some events when shortly returned to Dioclea, attacked Rascia :) clear? ...further, Raymond proved to be ally of Alexios and Byzantines and just deepened his rivalry and animosity with Bohemond the Norman, in and during events in Levant ;....same, again, Rascia in those time became main enemy of Byzant here... second and third crusade are continuation of events and (for us) events are still tracable, hence daughter of one is Hungarian queen, other relative Manuel's and the rest is history.... but to return to previous - so are events trying to tell us that Raymond-Alexios-Bodin-Jaquinta was one faction and Rascian nobles and Normans other, to make it understandable...

since direct papal legate of first travelled with Raymond and Normans kings of Sicily later clashed strongly with popes, multiple excommunications of Roger by popes ) as well as Rascian voluntary eternal x-com :) matches to extent Byzantine report of Serb alliance with Normans but again historian Stephenson was wrong about "Norman and Bodin alliance", as both might be against Bohemond and pro-Byzantine, unlike rising Rascian elite in times when Bodin got old.... lovely if you can understand, that's possibility... in any way, as said since Barbarossa times, clashes around Tusculum and Ras ; our main, Rascian line found new allies in both Rome (Savelli and Colonnas) and in Staufens, that's fact...

hope another subject to keep you awake at nights, and to think about if lover of era history - and again hope i explained it well with minimum words, just recently came to me as possibility in all those interesting continental events.... further, since Raymond and his regions was still not "completely" subject of French crown, it could be as well that later Rascian eventual marriage with Capets just show that we were in fact also some earlier hidden ally of Franks ;) ....in any way, to repeat what seems obvious to me, Bodin's Dioclea (and Raymond obviously) were not allies of Normans from southern Italy ; - problem of many foreign historians as i said few times is that there is no "serbology" as separate branch of med history so they do not understand it well and make wrong lines or use dubious sources.... BTW, rememnered this story - some say how (quasi) most violent decision of Roger II rule was execution of some rebels from Bari led by male noble Jaquintus :) so cute... if you properly understand all, really Honorious deserves 100 m (as male larger reserved for queens)) statue, he and Luca - still think Constantin-Friedrich Staufen acting against them was main reason for our "puke" moment :) but as seen and if understand might be deeper and older and much, much before Rascia was in some agreement with Frank royal house etc etc.... lovely think about it and think twice mr Stephenson ; nice last name, in France it is read as Charlesson btw.... :) as said, if you do not join, share some solutions if you have some era-loving friends but i'd prefer your company.... ;) subjects are more than deep, masked and complex but pure pleasure and beauty is trying to get them right

but hardly, Bohemond faction yes he even left some lines that could match views of our elite then, but Franks too wide and deep subject to be easily matchable.... btw and anyway "beautiful" and no sarcasm informative text on Fourth ;) ...generally to say first, continental events during start of XIII, creation of our kingdom etc, very much mirrored the events from start of XIV, creation of empire etc :) to great extent - so in short there was also coalition of other powers against Franks ) some punching and first recorded use of oriflame :) and reign - historical fun fact - of Philip Augustanus is first time that title "king of France" is used so generally just few years before title "king of Serbia" was put into modern use by Emeric and transfered to Nemanjic's later, lovely fact... but to subject, so after arriving from Zara and acting under request of Alexios IV Angelos:
....on 18 July 1203, the Crusaders launched an assault on the city, and Alexios III immediately fled into Thrace. The next morning the Crusaders were surprised to find that the citizens had released Isaac II from prison and proclaimed him emperor, despite the fact that he had been blinded to make him ineligible to rule. The Crusaders could not accept this, and forced Isaac II to proclaim his son Alexios IV co-emperor.

Despite Alexios' grand promises, Isaac, the more experienced and practical of the two, knew that the Crusaders' debt could never be repaid from the imperial treasury. Alexios, however, had apparently not grasped how far the empire's financial resources had fallen during the previous fifty years. Alexios did manage to raise half the sum promised (100,000 silver marks), by appropriating treasures from the church and by confiscating the property of his enemies. He then attempted to defeat his uncle Alexios III, who remained in control of Thrace. The sack of some Thracian towns helped Alexios' situation a little, but meanwhile hostility between the restive Crusaders and the inhabitants of Constantinople was growing.

In December 1203, violence exploded between the citizens of Constantinople and the Crusaders. Enraged mobs seized and brutally murdered any foreigner they could lay hands upon, and the Crusaders felt that Alexios had not fulfilled his promises to them. Alexios refused their demands, and is quoted as saying, "I will not do any more than I have done." While relations with the Crusaders were deteriorating, Alexios had become deeply unpopular with the Roman citizenry, and with his own father. Blinded and nearly powerless, Isaac II resented having to share the throne with his son; he spread rumours of Alexios' supposed sexual perversity, alleging he kept company with "depraved men". The chronicler Nicetas Choniates dismissed Alexios as "childish" and criticized his familiarity with the Crusaders and his lavish lifestyle. At the beginning of January 1204, Alexios IV retaliated against the Crusaders by setting fire to 17 ships filled with inflammable materials and sending them against the Venetian fleet, but the attempt failed.

At the end of January 1204, the populace of Constantinople rebelled and tried to proclaim a rival emperor Nicholas Canabus who took sanctuary in the Hagia Sophia. Alexios IV attempted to reach a reconciliation with the Crusaders, entrusting the anti-western courtier Alexios Doukas Murzuphlus with a mission to gain Crusader support. However, Alexios Doukas imprisoned both Alexios IV and his father on the night of 27 January 1204. Isaac II died soon afterwards, possibly of old age or from poison, and Alexios IV was strangled (probably on 8 February). Alexios Doukas was proclaimed emperor as Alexios V.....
how not to laugh, even father in events accussed son of being "gay" etc. ) ...but both were killed in finale by envoy that was to reconcile with crusaders ; ...month-two later city fell to Franks and Venetians.... so more than any religion and "east-west" huge portion of responsibility is on Byzantines themselves :) just as lovely note to casual readers, not knowing but is widely known for fans ;....... during Zara (Dalmatia) events leader of crusade Boniface of Montferrat, even disappeared shortly to visit Philip of Swabia, son of Barabrossa ; and returned, shortly after followed by Alexios IV :) ....Philip, also rival of Otto son of Hanry the lion ) was BTW later killed by no less than one Wittelsbach :) making it funny considering previous importance of Barbarossa to rise of family ; etc etc.

Franks are quasi "clear" as one who left crusaders after Zara was in grat touch with king Augustanus ) and he moved to Emeric "king of Serbia" in times and directly went to Levant from there :) so Franks are not part of it, hahaa... Stefan Anjou was probably also influenced by evil SU I "the rugged" and never planned anything :) ....in XIV France was strongly opposed to evil Dushan and as Pierre Thomas wrote it was Dushan "....who in defense of catholic faith just wants to conquer Byzantium" .... :lol

so funny, while i went greatly satirical in last paragraph and joking with France, generally hope people like and understand how Byzantines very much influenced fall of empire etc. of course Simon Montfort was hardly angel as he took part in various crimes in southern France and southward expansion was for long some priority for Franks etc.... hence, Honorius Savelli and our role is interesting as he in first year of his mandate transfered title "king of Serbia" to us and also gave some green light for further French southern expansion, maybe trying to balance among two factions... or was it one faction in times? ;) lovely... always join if you know something hehe

Anna wrote:His eyes were light-blue and gave some hint of the man's spirit and dignity. He breathed freely through nostrils that were broad, worthy of his chest and a fine outlet for the breath that came in gusts from his lungs
extract from Anna's Komnena description of Bohemond, i think our great pal deserving statue :) Anna was daughter of Alexios Komnenos, with Manuel K. maybe two most deserving Byzantine emperors for creation of our kingdom and post-creation course :) ...some doubt her autorship of "Alexiad", maybe yes maybe not - but why i chose this extract or lines? The way she described both Robert "the fox" and his son Bohemond has that erotic elctricity or tension almost noticeable in many works of Greeks and Romans when they dealt with many barbarians, so in short people always say that "excitment"with plae skin and blond eyes ) are of newer date and matching some "sexual revolution" but as seen not really, it is old... withoput giving any logical explain and reasoning Anna equalize Bohemonf blue eyes with "some spirit and dignity" :) and so on, like her explain of "winds coming from worthy nostrils" etc ; ...so it is old fascination by Greeks and Romans, probably others not of newer date.... strangely Byzantines rarely or never sepcially described our figures same way (or i missed some special description) - what i like btw ; - maybe confirming that both Greeks and Italians (what survived Lombards and rest)) never truly considered Serbs as some "faraway, northern tribe etc" (though some odd "barbarian" line was present) I did not find many fascinatins about our esp. pale and northern figures :) but for example young Miluten photo shows they were lighter toned ; but as said both Greeks and Italians often considered Serbs as some "older population"....
He has oppressed many thousands of Christians with wicked treachery, some consigned to shipwreck, many to poison, more still to exile, and countless others he has handed over to pagans. This emperor is not a Christian but a mad heretic...etc. (some biblical and religious lines mentioning Juda and Jews but unimportant))
this is how in contrast Bohemond describes her father to which she dedicated her work ;...posting only because those are lines i meant as those "our elites would agree with", not to be some guessing... so Bohemond was good expert ) and analised situation well, as both Alexios and Manuel punched us harsh :) ...so in contrast to some opinions often our coop with "western barbarians" was more closer even though Nemanja converted to orthodoxy... but more fun how Bohemond described Alexios - guess Bodin, Vukan and Marko etc. would sign under those lines 100% :)
From Constantinople to Antioch, Bohemond was a stand out among the leaders of the First Crusade. Bohemond's reputation as an effective strategist and leader came from his fighting experience in the Balkans when he took charge of his father's army against Emperor Alexios (1082–1085). There Bohemond became familiar with various Byzantine and Muslim strategies, including an encircling strategy used by Turkish forces at the siege of Nicaea. Mounted archers would encircle the crusader force, who would be unable to retaliate using close combat weaponry. Bohemond's familiarity with this Eastern strategy allowed him to adapt quickly, leading to crusader victories through Antioch.
and then....
...in August 1100 Bohemond marched north with only 300 knights and a small force of foot soldiers. Failing to send scouting parties, they were ambushed by the Turks and completely encircled at the Battle of Melitene. Bohemond managed to send one soldier to seek help from Baldwin of Edessa but was captured. He was laden with chains and imprisoned in Neo-Caesarea (modern Niksar) until 1103.
:lol for humor, very funny from same page - it starts with Bohemonds praise of being great strategist, adaptable and familiar with encircling tactics - but he fell to trap and was encircled after all :) ...while this extremely funny to me as lines, good was old pal Bohemond, 50-75 m statue... :yes

so, what are some constructions and circle or chain of events etc. in short for film knowers ;) ....it is Bohemond's grandaughter that married later Raynald "Baldwin beat me" Chatillon and was also related (via Bohemond wife) to French Capets so it was daughter of Philip I (or was it Louis, Stefan maybe? etc)) and her two daughters became wives of Manuel of Byzant and Hun king Bela III - who at least for some short time decided to use Rascia as "punchbag" etc. ...and to together burn Ras a little :) i remind town under Unesco protection :) etc. Hun kings were by that time related to Vukan of Rascia and his brother Marko from whom they descend generation before.... while Marko is rarely mentioned in sources, maybe killed by someone :p Emeric is (or should be) right about same relation to that Marko and Bohemond, more less. In time of those two, both they and Bohemond launch simultaneus campaign against Alexios etc etc. later events are known (quasi)) but that is that line or events before it, if unknown...

hence enigma Nemanja is interesting, some say he is also related to Marko and hence to that queen of Hungary (aunt of him) but many say not and he was from other line, while was born in southern, almost coastal regions... since him as mentioned ghibelline stand becomes more visible, but generally he reinstalled mentioned "primates" of archbishporic etc. so nothing is clear.... most interesting to those able to follow is that unknown maybe part and lines from Bohemond and one Capet daughter and how in same time (almost) one takes title of "king of F" other of "S", as talked, but guess 90% do not know this so our history is much more interesting even in those times predating crown transfer and why i say that construction that Bohemond was "our player" and Raymond of other nobility branch is possible.... so generally our history connected with major players and events of time is truth... small joke but i never joke :) is how people often seen us "as acting by someones command almost" while often in fact those seen as stronger players were just our puppets :) lovely history no hard feelings :p and only now from those distance isee that mutual goalwas Uranus.... :) hope you even remotely understand this as manysubjects i just touched, so what is line/circle and how we ended for some reason that would shock Bohemond :) in clinch almost by his two greatgrandaughters :) (so lovely line) and unesco-site got ruined - but then Barbarella intervened, French as well, not to mention republicans.......... as said many times, meds require deep knowledge and special care of small, almost unvisible details - but even with it, far from solved so i say i hope you followed... join with something and hope you learned much and your "soda and lies" versions you maybe know are refreshed with some lovely stories, give me a sign that youare alive miladies after all shocks i presented probably :) share freely, closest to real events but no final solutions and similar.....

to me, most likely by events from Licinius, as claimed after all :) ...or maybe indeed, early influence of Rogers to Nemanja, so uncle and to extent rival of Bohemond, could explain some punches if they found some Roger letters in Nemanios pockets )

anyway, when another puzzle pieces match their positions - it is more obvious that Raymond (of Toulouse) hardships and travel through Dalmatia wasn't maybe his pure intent nor necessity, but more, more likely classical "set-up" or trap by our and Bohemond faction ; ...and reason him to even more dislike Bohemond after thorny voyage he had :lol ...to repeat, while going through Dalmatia allegedly "he lost many knights" "nobody wanted to supply him" and similar (but he met old Bodin) that's how those events should be read - in start maybe even Venice blocked him (so emergence of some faction in until then Byzant "loyal" Vinegia in theory) or he had no money and supplies so had to hurry right into trap by Bohemond, some sympathetic Croats, Rascian elite and mainline French maybe.... similar is case of "thorns" Hainrich the lion experienced, hardly anything by chance, it was maybe another punch by our factions and above all Wittelsbachs in moment, most interested Henry to has some hardships etc. Nothing so much tribal, nothing about this or that, likely both intended set-ups for giving them trouble rather than to defeat them, and made by our factions. lovely and funny

but generally it is not we here who profited that much, only one in sense of success of some enlargement ambition was France so i say for us is OK to joke, even harshly, with French ;) but it is not about size, France is country similar to other in middle east (hahaa) with own problems, and while we maybe lost territorial hold of own primates and France kept own "primates of Gaul" ) but we are maybe even more respected member of Frankokratia organization, in status matched or bested only by Burkina Faso :) ...btw for end, why was St Bohemond :) so interested in us - well if you missed he gained little but as oldest son of Fox he was promised all lands in region by his father etc. generally while i had some sympathy for him and father for long, detailed puzzle matching as said even more ensured me he was another of to us heads worthy marble that should stand above parliament stands, if we had any parliament, so maybe one day :) ...lovely, lovely i like, you always add your favs from era...

regarding some quasi role of some queens of round times (and only/mostly in that interesting moments) already talked but also to disappoint some female writers who wrote about likes of Jaquinta :) again saythat my personal view is that it was more some intention to "satanize" some foreign women than any sign of their true historical role or something like that etc. ;) similar is case of that our origin Hun queen who also liked some brutalities and similar ) but Jaquinta personally best example... while of course various fems existed both now and then ) it is more set of attacks than some pointing to their "strong character or role", so probably untrue, so she had lovers during life of king (not impossible but it was pointed to just because)) kiled one king, mutilated others pretenders, demanded heads to roll in front of city etc :) ... so think that both Norman/Lombard queen here and our queen in Hungary were specially targeted, probably with strong Byzantine influence behind, just because in those times we were "one faction" to say...

regarding my view on Bohemond and all, after refreshing memory by Hun sources and events, yes their king Coloman was supporting Alexios, most notably in 1106-7-8 which was year of final Bohemond's push and by our Vukan and Marko etc. Manuel was also son of Hungarian princes Piroshka :) (cute name btw) so yes, Unesco should be noted of mutual activity of both Huns and Byzant around Ras :) ....when it comes to Bohemonds two greatgrandaughters, what to say clash of generations :) ....so generally yes in some indirect but very direct could be said maybe that this country was "created" by Normans and their activity in some sense ;) ...or at least factions of them ;... but not to be mixed with Norses in general, they had a lot of Frankish in them... so it is not without base at all to consider events of XIV c and special pleasure of then French kings to punch Normans, and who ruled Hungary as well, as some line of continuity and our tie with region and someone who were used as "preneste" messages to English kings :) hehee etc.... finally, why i always say that masking was great through era -also is likable moment of Bohemond being one demanding oath from crusaders to Alexios :lol which Raymond "only did not give" and similar....

:lol :lol :lol

this i must report, see for yourself

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B%C3%A9la_II_of_Hungary

lovely article and it says a lot about some stand of our elite in those times, as when (quasi) "our queen ruled Hungary together with our palpatine (her brother)" strong alliance with Germans was made against old pal Poland :) and similar things, worth discussing.... but not that at all, great laugh is that Bela, with our wife, became "drunkard" in final years, but not even that funniest to the tears is that below article in "see also" section, where Wiki usually puts links to pages really related to subjects, often other historical pages etc. you know if you ever read it of course ; - only link put is "List of deaths through alcohol" :lol such pearl and very funny, really Wiki is so comical sometimes i think even intentionally...

According to the Illuminated Chronicle, at "an assembly of the realm near Arad" in early to mid-1131, Queen Helena ordered the slaughter of all noblemen who were accused of having suggested the blinding of her husband to King Coloman. ...there is even picture to go with it, with blind Bela probably thinking he is sitting in the royal lodge watching some jousting event :lol and not knowing anything... same pattern as Jaquinta ;) ...somehow when you connect all that and strong ghibelline stands of our kingdom at peak - guess our initial idea, toegether with some Hun factions (but soon Hungary went into chaos)), some Italian etc. wasn't bad at all - some strong "triple monarchy" with Germans included etc. but of course ruled by our kings as Roman emperors :) ...lovely stories, even some/many cute lies and one interesting history and when French fully involved themselves, became even more fun and we jumped to empire.... :) there was clear progression by century since XII in our case, in generally short history as kingdom i always say, compared to others... start of XIII brought kingdom, start of XIV empire and with some undisturbed continuity most likely start of XV would bring some "servo-astrokrator" title )

like humor, but in serious way reading and understanding events properly, giving credits to deserved and generally breaking some lies and mentioning some hijacks is fun and still to be done job... our case is among the best on continent. Hungary and our story is to me lovely and i like how during Dushan and Charles Robert and Louis some areas and cities changed hands 5-6 times :) ...but was it really our and Hungarian war, or should i be looking at you Frankia :) and so on... to extent yes, to extent no, no simple answer but say again, Hungary was such a chaos that it's lovely :) ....there is one legendary line by Byzantine emperor who fought against Stefan II of Hungary and after he captured just some border regions close to Danube (today in our country) he wrote "we captured the richest parts of Hungary" :) haha, and it was huge country and doubt that Hungarians would 100 agree with his assertion )) ....yeah, to conclude with that (unimportant and non-startegic) game (above) which starts in 1135 - so during "our rule" and Bela who just watched sports and drank :) it was true to give us best relations with it :yes just it failed to see western ties we had and so on... but yes, yes no papers.... papa-Jacques!! :)

interesting is also, btw speaking now as for me subjects became clear and no doubt that Miluten was not only SU II but also one in great touch with French whole life etc. On river Lys ) with Charles Valois, imagine even ;) so interesting is also for true history that question of islam in Hungary, well i knew they were around since Magyar (Hun)) arrival as percent of tribal federation, but honestly while refreshing memory, did not know they were around for so long in some communities and Hun army, really it seems all up to XIV century, so in Miluten's time...

why mentioning and what is interesting... well another lie and twist in some Hungarian sources is that "about Miluten having significant numbers of various Cumans, Tatars and similar, turkopoles"... if anyone had them in some numbers as possibilty during half-bro clash it was Dragutin as half-Hungarian vassal :) so another cute lie, twist of facts like many in history of era, funniest of all is that Miluten was most probably supported by French, papal forces and Italian mercs :lol so communities of various people of kind (some maybe even islamic yet) lived in Hungary and more likely to be in Dragutin service etc etc. I found only one record of Miluten having some unit of "Turkopiles" shortly after they offered service to him and coming from Thessaly after defeating French with Catalans - but soon they tried to rebel against him and he annahilated whole unit ;... not so crucial and of course "turkopoles" are not same as Cumans, Kipchacks, Tatars etc. various maybe islamic troops in Hungary for long, just pointed that one of brothers who had them wasn't surely Miluten so much..... to me another lie busted, but as said not crucial... as seen, almost crucial to get true facts about Miluten and Dushan, so another on subject

also remembered - talking Poland - joke how their general Bem after emigrating to Ottomans and converting took name Murat Pasha :lol joking similarly to one about pope John Paul, as Murat was sultan of battle on Kosano and second with same name one who did "first fall of Serbia" :) ...lovely subjects, some Hungarian themes reminded me on this "important" theme on Miluten, while with Poles just jokes, but it is noticeable how their figures liked "anti-Serb" names :)

...so, something more modern but not my field and philosophical.... considering all, even all up to XX c, but considering our very long (let's forget about our ancient Ruma now) medieval history and even 400 years practicing falconry and dog breeds before Constanin-Frederik Staufen :) (unlike Stefan Anjou where it is hypothesis, Freidrich was Konstantin by birth, btw) but relatively short history as kingdom and empire and even power of times - short peak but very strong and eventful, to remind that very, very few tribes had even few monasteries and churches in holy land, we one of them (how is unanswered as we were x-comed by east?) for small example of far reach etc etc.... so considering all, and as is now XXI and all settled, almost feeling and touching Uranus ) - always funny how we ended in such situation with "ghibellines" :) in XX c (meaning Germans) and all that, comical almost

IDK, XX c was irregular in many ways, but i personally often/always think more it was France, French influence etc. Maybe i'm wrong about it, but problem is that we also had good and old relations with Frankia etc etc (so many tapestries BUT from Istanbul)).... i say maybe i'm wrong but i don't see so much eastern European influence here, but maybe that dual good relations also once with France and maybe some there really "emotionally" influenced some or part of our decision makers and similar... greatly speculating here and not my field nor i read that much about anything post 1459 :) but some my feeling that it was more France, "old madmazel" :p and fact that we couldn't also forget very old ties (even documented alliances) with them........ tough guess, must say it is not anything emotional for me nor i like Germans something special :) (except Claudia) but just rational, philosophical question i raised few times if you noticed "how come such u-turn in star of xx" etc. generally unimportant just i always wonder what was exactly that moment, but you can always join with med subjects..... unrelated to this above, you have no idea how twisted some facts were in our med events and it was literally punches from all sides and we have many neighbors :) some are even not neighbors :) plus domestic quasi sources - so i repeat for example that work about Stefan L. was written post his life and he never seen nor approved anything :) etc...also think many "sources" were even "redacted" in later times but presented to all as "contemporary", maybe continental problem/issue, but here esp. strong sowhy i'm (unsuccessfully) trying to see if anyone has any knowledge and detective trait...

idk, really some med figures and politicians :) (even if sons of "bandit knights")) had more honesty or "tact" or how to define, sensibility, than many modern ones, not at all those considered "bad" in modern times ) but really and honestly more than figures as Nap or Bem :) ....idk, how you went so far from "freedom fighters" to imperialists in both cases of two, but they are rather examples of recent mention than some fixation ; ...one went into "undefined goals" (unlike our HIM much before) emperor and other to serving empire still oppressing many, even using mass slavery etc etc. so how "freedom fighters" were they.... etc

btw, what i mean and maybe if you missed in often humoristic or shortened posts of mine... again Bohemond was really saint compared to even them :) while my other foreign sainthood nominees hehe, like Philip was king of powerful monarchy France, or Sarra being Colonna after all when acting against criminal pope so personally touched etc. - Bohemond really did not have much behind him in sense of territory or rank, even less some soooo personal feud with Alexios, but he left some sensitive lines i quoted above, need to act against someone he considered as "oppressor" almost objectively and not subjectively like other saints i mentioned :) ....so again, more i was thinking about him, more i like him in general constellation and situation, maybe even my favorite med foreign figure :yes and for rarity in those times, so i note, if his words taken in France are true - he was above some usual divide of times caused by "great schism" so he said christians though being catholic himself etc etc. worth noting again how great he suddenly look to me - would be such unique and great thing and something recognizable we to erect really huge monument to him :) for many reasons, no joke ; ...if you ever join would like to hear your suddenly or not fav foreign figure of times or similar (hope for many answers like when i asked about fav papa)) not hiding this dude might be mine after whole life of interest in subjects ;)

more if unknown..... his name - not all sources agree but likely considering that Bohemond wasn't baptism name ; - was Marko :) sapienti sat :)

it is so interconnected to remind that, it was also name of Rascian prince about who very few sources survived - "burp!"... what you said Jacques? ... :) - but is concidered starter of our royal line among others again... not by all and dubious was Nemanja (i'm not sure and indeed might be not, either from Licinius or illegal son of some Norman etc)) really his greatgrandson but it is family that later surely related itself with Bohemond's as said. But was co-ruler of Vukan, main figure of times and both (if our Marko was still alive) allied with other Marko :) in actions around Durazzo in 1106-1108, more than obvious ;) both launched campaign against figures of Durazzo, governor and generals, relatives of Alexios etc.... and during first crusade until Marko-Bohemond death only blind man don't see that activity of Serbs of Rascia and his Normans is paralel/same....

Marko is also favorite figure (though obscure and unimportant historically) of Serb epic poetry from later times and one of wider spread last names etc :) but it is super cool what was name of this man and how just slight blurring tried to again distract all but is obvious... as said few times his (Marko the Norman)) look like directly dictated from our Vukan and Marko who before his arrival were vitorius but more punched by Alexios :) ...Jaquinta and her origin/faction hence not sure, Bodin's stand as he got old, but might be that she even as daughter of figure both loyal to Fox and then disloyal, maybe even belonged to some faction Bohemond belonged as well if we imagine that Marko :) was, though obedient on surface, maybe dissatisfied with fact that he is not main successor of own Foxy father etc etc. speculation..... anyway, and even without any further conspirations, it seems that our and Marko tie is obvious and who deserves big one if not him :) ....Normans, might be, is also initial reason for great care about city by our peak rulers.... Marko and Marko, again, later had unified line in Hungarian kings, but generally fate of his two greatgrandaughters is "puke moment" for both Markos no doubt :lol ...lovely stories, what else to say and hope we Serbs (i even have personal relation)) will learn to respect him like nobody on this planet :)

interesting is really and right in front of our noses for so long.... St Marko even chosen small city near Bari as own burial place... practice of our rulers own tombs as separate churches seems to match some Norman or Hauteville practices, but not all, but it does in case of Marko-Behemoth ) though in different manner and is attached to other church and of course our ruler's tombs were separate and more humble and smaller :) but some of them also built monastery main churches as own tombs (still looking at all so maybe will add something)).... anyway, Marko's tomb or annex in some way does remind of our "central" tomb Studenica, not just marble but also apse etc. not field, but it does ; ...maybe Nemanja also imagined it as royal or dynasty tomb for all, just like Fox in other place, but his relatives, like Fox', changed his idea and built separate etc.... Marko's mausoleum or tomb has also "lion rampant" carved in stone, not unusual at all continentally - but hey, as seen on belt stolen from us in Brit museum :) (not to mention silver plates and golden forks now)) also in same lion position and paws position symbol of at least Dushan and his son and Brankovic family ;) ...some speculate it was Marko's personal heraldic symbol, but not proven, but is there ; ...widespread but again we had tie with him - as for symbol per se "lion rampant" is not today in national-state symbolism and explain might be as eagle (much rarer continentally) was symbolic elevation, imperial and rare ;)

to come back to Canosa (where Marko's tomb is) and Bari, they then formed combined bishporic and is geographically and linguistically contected with Bar or Antivari or Antibari, place of residing of "primates of Servia" and as talked in right about time it had own history, most likely connected with events :) so elevated as archbishporic by Bodin (think) though old bishporic, abolished by popes in 1140 and again reinstalled by Nemanja and sons, repeat... generally to me another tie with Norman activity there and some ups and downs or maybe concretely Behemoth, Marko :) etc. Canosa near Bari is also related to St Sabinus and just btw, as talked it is name related with maybe Sabelli or Savelli etc. but generally least important thing, mention.... some just speculate that Marko liked him, as well as Honorius :) but joke, think Behemoth was above those things, more as it was place connected with our "primates"..... that much historically, but generally today is known that Bari is not Italy :lol

in sea of those more symbolical and architectural things to repeat that second landing of Behemoth i.e. Marko came just few months after Serb attack that might be failed in time of Marko's arrival or still ongoing - BUT Wiki is again wrong by stating that Vukan "maybe tried to take advantage of Norman attack etc" as chronologically it is more like Marko B. landed "in support of Serbs already in action" although maybe initial sailing direction was Levant, than vice versa :) ...maybe preserved dates are wrong but in anyway activity in 1106 was coordinated and maybe in same time ;) ....but Alexios, old heretic, won against both..... but then some dudes suddenly found out that there is some shrine to St Marko in Vinegia and then blah blah blah... was young then but remember Robert holding young Behemoth, cute Marko on shoulders, introducing him to us...... and then......))

proposition for future St Marko/Bohemond statue in our city center..... now only is dilemma should he hold a cross or sword in hand? :lol ...something about our monuments as joke, but like the man as own, such sister and own fav, and would never joke this way with him. very nice and obvious story not to be shy about in XXI i always say it is incredible how much symbolysm is in many of them in which we are included - so yes, generally we reached peak with our own "Behemoth" man of extra-size and similar ambition :) and he was patron, donor of Bari etc. and he also started reign disappointed by own father....) so there is some logical closed circle in story.... always join with some your, hope you liked mine.... yes, yes i know maybe you don't have any of kind :p but don't be shy and i'm sure it might be lovely if you put some line what you like about your figs ;
