4 During Operation Star ltbv

I overlooked the fact that the AI is set to aggressive. After the first German counterattacks, I briefly switched to defense and my ratchet-boom AT 76.2 mm did an excellent job against the armored vehicles.
Fortunately, the German Luftwaffe was not present.

A big name, but little action. All German attacks had little success and were broken off under the fire of my artillery.
Nevertheless, I launched my counterattack very late because I had great respect for the German tanks and wanted to be sure first that they were all destroyed.

10 Iasi Invasion ltbv

In this scenario, I was very grateful to have two bridge leaders. This allowed me to cross the river very quickly and roll up the Romanian defenses from north to south. In doing so, I was so fast that I collided with enemy reinforcements that popped up in the middle of my troops.
My AD traps were very successful this time and my SPAD gained a lot of experience.
All T34/41s were upgraded to IS-1 in the meantime. That will have to do until the end of the war. The AT detachment has also reached its preliminary final stage. The SU-85 have the best price/performance ratio. Next I have to upgrade the Fighters. Also the INF could be improved if I have enough prestige ...

11 Operation Bagration bv-1 (bv-3 was possible)

Now I had enough prestige and upgraded my two fighters.

In the north I slowly advanced with the aux-units and tried to set AD traps for the German Luftwaffe. This succeeded so well that I quickly gained air superiority and could sustainably damage the heavy German tanks with my TB. After that, the battle was relatively easy because I was highly superior with tanks and SPAT.

12 Minsk Offensive bv-2

Minsk is heavily defended - AD, AT and lots of INF - all highly entrenched.
I thought it would be a good idea not to direct the tanks through the minefields and other fortifications to the south of Minsk and moved them swiftly across the river to the northern bank.
Besides, the south-western VH looked lightly defended - only one cavalry.
But the idea bore no fruit. In the south, the Germans received reinforcements twice with heavy tanks, ATY, AD and INF. This rendered the easy conquest of the VH moot.
The tanks on the northern bank of the river remained without enemy contact for a long time, and then had big problems with the dug-in Range-2 AT on the outskirts of Minsk.
Fortunately for me, the reinforcements to the south tried to reinforce Minsk, thereby denuding the VH of all but a few units.
The Soviet aux units from the north are important. They are responsible for the capture of the northern VH (airfield). This task was difficult because the airfield was defended by many units (three of them with CS).

13 Vilnius Offensive bv-4

This scenario was relatively simple. The aux units from the north-east are able to conquer the VH in the north. The core units from the south have a short path and only need to conquer the second VH. The river crossing is a bit difficult, but with a lot of ATY preparation it can still be done quickly.

My tip: Conquer both VH's in the same turn if possible.

14 The Gates of Warsaw bv (hold 4/4 VH)

i had to restart several times because i lost core units (mostly because of air strikes). Conquering air superiority was not easy - I had to buy a third fighter to reach it.

The rest of the battle is quickly told. The Germans attack in several waves from the north. They have many good tanks and SPAT, but to my luck little AD. My TB are doing a good job.
My losses are substantial and several units I have to take back from the fight just before they are destroyed.

16 Budapest Offensive ltbv

That was difficult. I restarted several times after losing core units. I also had too few units. Therefore, I reinforced with new SPATY and an AT. The enemy air force was also numerous, so I upgraded the Il-10 to a fighter/bomber. This gave me a small advantage in air combat.
The defenders were heavily entrenched and supported by many tanks. My losses were heavy and I had to pull some units far back to avoid losing them.

17 East Prussian Offensive tv

That was tough. In the end I was able to conquer 3 out of 5 VH's - more was not possible.
I also had to restart several times because of total losses.
Maybe it was also a mistake that I attacked the three VH's "Gutshof", "Eylau" and "Heilsberg" at the same time - so I could not put enough pressure on any VH, because I have too few units for that. Conquering the VHs one after the other doesn't work either - there's not enough time for that, especially since there are still counterattacks to fend off in between.

toughest battle so far. The German tanks and SPAT are technically superior and I broke off several times in the middle of the scenario to restart and choose a different strategy.
It is critical that the units fighting off the German tank attack have sufficient ATY support at all times. This will help minimize their own losses.

19 The Last Battle: Berlin lttv

:phew , that was very hard. After several restarts, I just wanted to finish it and accepted numerous losses (which I usually don't do).
The whole city is full of heavily entrenched INF, supported by numerous ATY, AT and AD. The few heavy German tanks are eliminated after a few turns and the Soviets receive reinforcements from the south and north, but there are too few units overall to fight the Germans effectively.
