Disbanding Units?

I know it may not be considered 'realistic', but I cant seem to find a way to 'disband' or 'reassign' units during a scenario. I dont want to keep dealing with weak, not usable units in a long battle who are not going to participate anyway. This was available in Panzer general I, and Allied General, I often wish it was available in Panzer General 2.

There's no way to reassign units during a scenario in PG2 or OG, in any version I've played.

If you cycle through your units using hotkey N you can choose to omit a selected unit from cycling by pressing hotkey O.
