Good question. I leave it to be answered by developers more familiar with AI.
When I play the game scouting is done by recon and other dedicated units for this task. Then artylery fires including arty with phased movement.
But I know that AI scouting is not so effective so maybe it can be as it is.

Luis, sure there are more important things than adding config files to suite to have a proper visibility range.

Spotted hexes in Suite: - Suite doesn't consider attachments (recon) and leaders when displaying spotted hexes - Is it possible to check all spotted hexes by all AI units? Suite also doesn't consider attachments when display unit range - movement (maybe Leaders as well). And maybe fire range as well...

Please don't forget leaders - they can also increase visibility or movement range.

I also thought about a real visibility, dependent on a weather condition, instead of the unit visibility (not sure if it is a part of the current logic).

That unit spot is 3, not 5, because AI recon phase do not consider attachments. (surely it should ?) IMHO it should. AI 3.0 - Efile GUS Recon by helicopter. Helicopter has a phase movement 13 and visibility = 5 plus recon attachment. Visibility good. It moves only 2 hexes. Yes. The next scenario Title in the AAR was missing. Also the name was missing on the scenario list when selecting a new scenario to play i OG.

Hi,

Scenario title is missing after editing a scenario. I edited in older version of OpenSuite. Then I updated to the newest version 25.09.01.0 and tried to fix it.
OG in the newest - corresponding version doesn't show the scenario title.
Scenario file for an analyze send to Luis.
