With the push for folks moving to Linux, I think the players are out there.
And the modders too, one of the big selling points of Linux is the ways it can be customized.
Once I figure it out, I will post a tutorial, unless someone beats me to it.

Update - I have some maps that need fixing of road and rail layers...
Here is an example (not saying where in the world this is of course):

As such, I'm mostly quiet here, but the project is going forward rather fast.

It seems like only selected avatars can be used, I did not find the function to submit my own (and I have a fun one I'd use, so if it's there, please point to it). And yeah, that's going to be the theme. I am also reducing the size of the core a bit, because every battle in 1939 and 1940 is a s***sh...

What do all y'all think of scenarios with heavy losses on both sides?
Is this a good reason to have a bunch of non-core units to be the first wave?

Re: Core Size
Well, the way I'm building the Poland campaign right now is with the core starting at maybe 15 units, and that will probably grow to like 30-40 towards the end. The battles are about 120-130 units per side though. The idea is to have lots of filler units - infantry (sometimes regular, sometimes rese...

Greetings all!
When playing a campaign is it better to have....
Small core (say 20% of the total of units on the front)
Large core (say 80%)
No core at all, only scenario units
No scenario units at all, full reliance on the core?
Just looking for opinions.

One more small update, before getting a bigger one hopefully. Pixel editing is a female dog, but I think it will be worth it. Re: Polish Projects and Prototypes - 1939
Small update. I'm editing pixels on the icons to make them look better. When shrinking the individual views of the 3D model there were some areas where the vehicle's edges blended with the background, giving a color that is a mix of whatever it should be with the peachy background - which then shows...

I've been looking far and wide for inspiration for the Romanian medium tank. They wanted a T-34, but they had no tech level for such a vehicle. They wanted the T-34 with a 120 or even 150 mm gun mounted on a captured chassis, but they also lacked the tech level to custom build a turret that can hand...

Well then play GSB or some turret defense game. These are not played for exercising your brain but for letting it take a break, and they are popular.
I need to finish the Poland mod I'm doing first, then I might take a shot at an experimental campaign with this gameplay.
